Warm winter, doing homework from 9 in the morning

He participated along with his signature illustrations! As expected of Shun-kun, he masters the use of 'kireji' (cutting words) in his haiku.

Shun-kun has been participating in the Everyone's Haiku Tournament since he was in 4th grade. Because Shun-kun was there, I felt elementary school students could participate too, and he writes wonderful haiku; he even gave my own son the opportunity to participate. He also kindly participated in the Children's Division and is cheering us on.

Following the Izayoi Cup, he participated along with his mom, Noriko Tonomura. In this tournament, he completed all three categories: haiku, senryu, and tanka. He even wrote senryu and tanka about his favorite games and anime.

Joy at the sight of my adult grandchild

It's okay, have confidence, it's okay

She participated as a parent-child pair with her son, Tsuru-san. She says this is her first time writing haiku, but she participated with such wonderful haiku that I can't believe it's her first time. Both Tsuru-san's haiku and Himawari-san's haiku warm the heart.

He participated as a parent-child pair with his mother, Kore-demo-kaasan. He mentioned that he is very bad at Japanese 💦💦, but it is a lovely haiku that seems to connect the past and the present. Apparently, he loves experiments; I wonder if you can really deodorize shoes with a 10-yen coin... I don't think I have the courage to smell them either 🤭

They participated with Minomushi-sensei and their classmates. They chose their No. 1 haiku from about 50 they had written. It seems they even invite each other to write haiku during recess. The children's free-spirited haiku are truly wonderful. How fun it must be to write haiku with classmates.

They participated as a parent-child pair with their mother, Ricotto-san. Both of them have a wonderful sense for haiku pen names! Niku to Kirimi no Chiisana Teikoku-kun wrote haiku about his favorite bicycles and cars. Genkai Jukensei Piyo-san's senryu have a great rhythm and really convey her feelings.

I had an idea and tried making it into a bear shape, a cute little bear pancake

Following Izayoi, she participated as a parent-child pair with her mother, Maka-san. She completed all three categories, and what's more, there are bears present or hidden in every haiku, senryu, and tanka. It really comes across how much she is enjoying this. Also, I heard Miimi-chan wrote the article for this tournament herself. That's amazing!

He participated as a parent-child team with his mother, Daina-san. He is learning haiku in his Japanese class, and for the Polar Bear Cup, he wrote a haiku about the freezing cold of a winter morning—it's so well done!
