My next challenges: 1) Try doing audio (stand.fm) on weekdays and text (note) on weekends/holidays for about 2 weeks, 2) Face the challenge of 'delivering' content
art. #102 / 1700 words (1 min.)
Hello.
I ate some spicy curry and now the bathroom in my house smells a bit spicy, this is Nitta.
Well then.
Today is Sunday, so this is a relaxed note about future developments.
1) Weekday audio, 2) Thinking about delivering, these two things will likely be my challenges leading up to day 200.
Please take a look if you are interested.
Introduction
I had a chance to have a quick phone call with a friend today at noon, and for some reason, we started talking about Instagram.
"By the way, what is it like for women in their 20s to use Instagram? I'm trying to experiment with 'ways of delivering' content right now." I said, and they taught me a lot.
Before I knew it, I had been asking questions for about 20 minutes non-stop. Haha
<Feelings of a typical woman in her 20s who uses Instagram>
- Dislike that the other person gets a notification when you like something
- Basically just Stories
- Can check it quickly while waiting for the train
- If I find a good-looking restaurant on Tabelog, I look for details about the shop on Instagram
And so on. Since I don't use Instagram at all, it was personally very educational for me.
- The difference
between 'creating' and 'delivering' - The importance of each, 'creating' and 'delivering'
↑ These are things I felt keenly during these 100 days of writing notes, so I decided to face 'delivering' and experiment with it.
The trigger was trying to make 4 radio episodes
"Let's just try it," "Let's keep a record of the company" - this note started for simple reasons like these.
It began exactly 102 days ago on March 4th.
Using note to organize my thoughts and ideas, and practicing 'writing' itself, it has personally been a very fruitful 100 days.
However, I want to grow the company and I also want to grow myself. More and more.
For that purpose, I started a radio show called 'Jun-Tenshoku' (Job Change) which is centered around changing jobs.
<Purpose of Jun-Tenshoku>
- To increase awareness of 'Workpods' which will be released at the end of this year
- To listen to the real worries of job seekers and apply them to the development of Workpods
↑The purpose was something like this. It's a bit business-oriented.
However, after doing 4 broadcasts, I have felt something.
While 'creating' is important, I realize I must not run away from 'delivering' either.
Just like with note, I thought it was important to lower the hurdles for starting a radio show.
So, I just recorded it for now and published it for now.
However, I quickly realized the characteristics of radio.
That is, 'the time commitment is long'.
It ties up the listener's ears for about 10-15 minutes, so listening (stand.fm) has a higher hurdle than reading (note).
(If a text takes 1-2 minutes to read, it takes 5-10 minutes to listen to.)
Because the hurdle is high, it is basically 'based on the assumption that no one will listen'.
In other words, if I am going to expand into radio, unless I carefully design both the creation and the delivery, it will just be a waste of effort.
・ ・ ・
<How to use note and stand.fm>
・note is centered on miscellaneous notes, stand.fm has a clear focus on career changes
・note is personal only, stand.fm also involves the company
↑Also, since radio is a part that also involves the company, I realized that not only do I need to create good content, but 'I need to start thinking properly about how to deliver it properly'.
Basically, I don't want to raise the hurdles too much, but I must face the next hurdle of 'delivering'.
※Since radio is just one means, I will also rethink what the optimal means is to gain company recognition and contribute to service development.
※At the same time, I must also think about what I should do to increase the company's sales more than they are now.
Not only 'creating' good content, but the time has come to 'face''delivering' as well, so I will do my best to level up one more step.
Conclusion
In order for someone like me to defeat a giant,
1) Think
2)(once you've thought about it for about 80%)Experiment
3) Fail
—there is no choice but to cycle through these at high speed.
I will keep failing repeatedly so that I can share some good news with you.
Thank you very much for reading until the end.
