[ Found the Snow Priest ]: Weekly Short-Short Note (Snow Priest)
- A heartwarming connection in the snowy landscape -
↑ I participated in this prompt [Snow Priest].
This story is also conscious of the other theme, [Loop].
I wanted to participate, so I unusually kept it to 410 characters 😊♪
But unfortunately, it turned out more like a palm-sized novel than a short-short.

[ Found the Snow Priest ]
Sweeping the temple's circular path with a broom was the priest's daily routine.
Especially around the lawn, which is considered a path for the Buddha, he sweeps it thoroughly.
Today, snow began to fall from the morning.
No matter how much he swept, the snow kept piling up on the path, and the priest, without even brushing the snow off his head, moved his broom silently.
There was someone following the priest.
It was the children who came to play in the temple grounds.
Seeing the priest, they brought brooms from their homes and began to sweep the snow.
Then, people who saw that began to line up with their own brooms.
The number of people kept increasing, and it looked like the priest might catch up to the back of the line.
After a while, the snow stopped.
On the lawn, a mountain of swept-up snow had formed.
"Oh, is that the priest?"
A child muttered.
The snow mountain, illuminated by light pouring through a break in the clouds, looked just like the priest's head.
Both children and adults pressed their hands together in prayer toward the snow priest.
Toward those people, the priest quietly pressed his hands together in return.
The end.
