Get along with people, get along with vegetables; cooking with a smile makes it delicious
I love the TV show 'Aiba Manabu,' where Aiba-kun, Kotoge-san, Sawabe-san, Abareru-kun, and Okabe-san have fun cooking. Their individual personalities are great, and it feels good to see how close they are. It's wonderful to see everyone cooking and laughing together.
In the 'Seasonal Local Produce' segment, the farmers who know the vegetables best teach us tips and recipes for eating them deliciously.
They also highlight the personalities of the farmers, introducing their hobbies and how they met their spouses, which shows how much they value 'people'.
Easy every day! Aiba Manabu's 365-day vegetable recipes
There are many things you can whip up quickly with what you have in the kitchen. I'm happy that it's vegetable-centered.
Asparagus
Asparagus and Chicken Stir-fry with Mentsuyu and Butter

Just stir-fry the chicken in butter, then add the asparagus and mentsuyu. I'm happy that it only uses two main ingredients. The crunchy texture of the asparagus and the juiciness of the chicken are a great balance and delicious. I love the grassy flavor of asparagus.
Asparagus Dog

It's like a convenience store corn dog. The playfulness of using asparagus as a stick is interesting, and it's fun to be able to taste the melted cheese, bacon, and asparagus all together.

Broccoli
Deep-fried Broccoli with Mentsuyu

The flavor of the mentsuyu soaks into the broccoli, and it still has a nice crunch, which is delicious. I'm happy that it's just broccoli.
Broccoli Galette Style

Crispy and chewy, it's delicious. The recipe called for a fried egg on top, but since I made them small, I skipped it. I'd like to try making it with a fried egg next time.
Spinach
Spinach and Smoked Salmon Hot Sandwich

A luxurious joy where you can taste all the ingredients in one bite. I love the fresh, green flavor of the spinach.
Asparagus, broccoli, spinach. These are farmer recipes that make the most of the vibrant green color and fresh, bitter taste of each vegetable. They know everything about how to enjoy the vegetables they've carefully grown. Aiba-kun and the others bring out the personality of those farmers, resulting in dishes full of humanity.
Their charm lies in cooking that is fun and full of laughter. You naturally smile when you eat something delicious, but it's amazing to be able to smile while you're cooking. I want to cook with a smile. This is a recipe book that teaches us that getting along with people, getting along with vegetables, and cooking with joy makes everything taste better.
