I read "Tonight, at Cafe Machikane".
This story centers on the memories and strange tales shared at the "Machikaneyama Strange Tales Club," which meets once a month during the final few months before the cafe "Cafe Machikane," located in front of Machikaneyama Station in Osaka, closes its doors.
The story, woven with descriptions that drift with Showa-era nostalgia and small miracles that occurred on street corners, gave me the feeling as if I were right there myself.

What was particularly impressive were the secrets and life dramas held by each of the characters who appear in each episode.
They are by no means flashy, but they resonate quietly in the heart.
For example, in the episode "The Public Bath Pianist," the story of a young man who plays the piano at a public bath is depicted, and his passion for music and the reality of his life struck a chord with me.
Also, in "The Machikane Crocodile in Love," a fossil excavated locally appears, making one feel a strange nostalgia and surprise.
