About Niceduck | "Paving the way so you don't have to move forward without understanding"

Nice to meet you. We are Niceduck LLC.

Nice to meet you, I am Sano from Niceduck LLC.

Thank you for visiting this note.

Here, I share information on AI utilization and operational improvements in nursing care settings, as well as ways of thinking to make daily work a little easier to move forward.

Not just introducing prompts and AI tools,

"Where is the easiest place to start in the field?"

I hope to deliver information useful for practical work, including that perspective.

About Niceduck

Niceduck is a company working on research and development of medical AI, system development, and operational improvement using generative AI.

I am currently involved in the research and development of Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) that supports cancer treatment using light, in a joint research project with Osaka University.

While continuing my research, something left a strong impression on me.

Even with high-performance AI,

if there is no mechanism for it to be naturally and continuously used in the field, it is difficult for it to take root in daily operations.

Who will use it?

Who will check it?

What procedures will be used for operation?

Only when such workflows are in place does AI become a useful tool in the field.

What I felt in the nursing care field

After that, I had more opportunities to receive consultations about AI utilization from nursing care facilities and home-visit nursing care offices.

While listening to their stories, there was something that many people talked about in common.

"I'm interested in AI."

"I think it seems useful."

On the other hand,

"I don't know where to start."

"I don't know how to explain it to the staff."

"I don't know how to proceed in a way that suits our facility."

We have heard many such voices.

In the field, people are busy with daily tasks alone, and it is not easy to secure time to promote new initiatives.

That is precisely why I feel that a form where you can proceed while trying things out one by one is necessary.

What we value

Niceduck's mission is,

"Paving a path where you don't have to move forward without understanding"

.

Whether in medical care or nursing care,

decisions are required on a daily basis in the field.

Thinking while information is insufficient,

there are many situations where you have to make decisions in a limited amount of time.

In such fields,

organizing the information and procedures necessary for judgment,

and creating a foundation where you can move forward with peace of mind.

We believe that is our role.

What we will share on this note

On this note, we will share:

  • AI utilization in nursing care settings

  • Ways of thinking to make administrative tasks easier

  • How to proceed with AI implementation that suits the workplace

  • Prompts and materials you can actually use

  • How to apply insights gained from medical AI development to the field

and more.

"What should I start with first?"

"In what order should we roll this out at the facility?"

We will summarize such content in articles, one by one.

Also, to help you proceed while actually testing things at your facility, for the practical aspects that cannot be fully conveyed through articles alone, we have prepared

  • an AI implementation roadmap

  • prompts that can be used in practice

  • materials that can be shared directly with staff

as part of the "Nursing Care AI & Documentation AI Implementation Pack to Support Administrators".

"I want to try it out by myself first."

"I want to gradually build a form that fits our facility."

We would be happy if you could make use of these resources at such times.

Finally

In nursing care settings,

writing records,

explaining things to staff,

coordinating with families,

a great many decisions pile up almost every day.

Making that daily work a little easier to move forward with,

and creating a little more room to focus on the users and staff.

I would be happy if I could provide such an opportunity through this note.
