★Lessons that stayed with me from Keisuke Oshima's lecture★
★Lessons that stayed with me from Keisuke Oshima's lecture★
The other day, I had the opportunity to listen to a lecture by Keisuke Oshima, and there were words that really stayed with me.
It was the story that,
“The biggest reason children cannot have dreams might be the tired appearance of adults.”
Children watch the backs of their parents and the adults around them very closely.
If they see them working painfully every day and hear them saying “I’m tired” or “It’s impossible,” it is only natural that they would find it difficult to have hope for the future.
Conversely, when adults enjoy their work, talk about their dreams, and take on challenges with a smile, it gives children courage.
Keisuke Oshima also said,
“It is not talent but habits that change life.”
Using positive words.
Expressing gratitude.
Taking on challenges.
Spending time with a smile.
I felt that the accumulation of these things leads not only to my own life but also to the future of children.
Before doing anything special for children,
first, adults must shine.
It was a time filled with many lessons.
Thank you very much.
