[NOTE Series | Parent's Future Strategy Newsletter] Vol. 2: How to be a 'Parent Who Doesn't Get Lost' in an Age of Information Overload—The Decision-Making Framework of NEXT2035 Shared in This Week's Newsletter
Hello.
This is the NEXT2035 editorial department.
In this week's newsletter, we discussed
education, career paths, work, and money—
themes that may seem unrelated at first glance,
and the perspective of intentionally connecting them with a single thread. We shared our thoughts on this.
Before deciding 'which one to choose,' if
the criteria for thinkingare not established,
the more information you have, the more anxious you will become.
Today, based on the content of that newsletter,
I would like to leave it in a more organized form on NOTE.
The reason why parents get the most tired in an age of information overload
The current generation of parents is in a situation where
educational options continue to increase,
there is no single correct answer,
and furthermore, they are told that 'it is better to decide early.'
They are in such a situation.
As a result,
which school is good,
will this choice lead to the future,
isn't it too late if I don't decide now,
and so,the act of making decisions itself becomes a burden.
What we shared in this week's newsletter was
about the true nature of this'fatigue'.
The most important perspective shared in this week's newsletter
That is,
to have a decision-making framework before gathering information.
Learning about new educational topics and
studying success stories certainly has meaning.
However,
if you just keep increasing the amount of information you have without any decision-making criteria,
you end up repeating a cycle where you feel convinced in the moment, 👉 but as time passes, you become anxious again.
This is a state that keeps repeating.
In the newsletter,
why anxiety doesn't disappear
what you should decide on to make it harder to get lost
points that parents should organize 'now'
were shared along with concrete examples.
What you gain by reading the newsletter
In the NEXT2035 Future Strategy Newsletter,
a foundation for thinking that prevents you from being swayed by information
a perspective that considers education, career paths, and money together
organizing 'things that don't need to be decided right now' and 'things you want to decide now'
are calmly articulated.
This is not an article that provides answers.
However, the order in which to think should surely become clear.
There is no need to rush for the right answer.
But, do not put off thinking!
What NEXT2035 values is not
'teaching the right answer,' but
fostering the ability to judge for yourself.
We believe the same applies not only to children,
but to parents themselves.
After reading this week's newsletter,
for those who have paused for a moment
For those who have felt, 'Is it okay to keep going like this?'
I hope this article will be a time for you to organize your thoughts.
