The Reason I Started the "HIPHOP Delusion Sharing Session"
Welcome. Welcome to the HIPHOP Delusion Sharing Session.
First of all, thank you for finding me among the many interesting articles on Note! Since this is my first post, I would like to briefly introduce myself and talk about why I started this Note.
Self-Introduction
Recently, HIPHOP has become popular, and more people around me are listening to rap. However, even if people can talk about battles or songs, I feel that there are surprisingly few people who can talk about the "culture."
I first encountered HIPHOP when I was 18, and it has saved me many times when I was going through tough times. While the "methods of expression" like songs and fashion are attractive, it would be interesting if there were a place to talk about the HIPHOP as a culture that lies behind them.
With that thought in mind, I started this note.
The Meaning Behind "Delusion Sharing Session"
The account name is "HIPHOP Delusion Sharing Session". It's not as formal as a "critique"; I wanted to include the idea of wanting to discuss things that I suddenly think of or feel in my daily life.
It would be a waste to just broadcast my own thoughts, so please let me know your thoughts and opinions on reading this note in the comments!
I am still ignorant about many things myself. That is precisely why I would be happy if we could freely discuss "culture" together.
The Reason I Want to Talk About HIPHOP Culture
At the beginning, I wrote that I wanted to talk about "HIPHOP" as a "culture."
So, what is "culture" in the first place? What does "HIPHOP" refer to?
"That guy isn't HIPHOP!!" "That song is POP, so it's FAKE."
In the HIPHOP scene, especially in battles and beefs, you often hear words like these, don't you?
But, there is no absolute answer like in mathematics to the question "What is HIPHOP?". Moreover, it is difficult to explain it all with words alone. That is why it is also an eternal theme on par with "friendship between men and women".
If you are a light HIPHOP fan, many of you might have thought, "That's kind of a hassle." I don't think that's a bad thing at all.
Truth be told, I am one of them.
I understand the feeling of "I just want to enjoy it as a hobby, so why do I have to be considerate about things like that!" painfully well.
On the other hand, I think this hassle is something that accompanies any culture. Whether it's rap or dance, people are giving shape to what they feel and think in their daily lives. Because it is so closely tied to life, when a trend that goes against one's own will spreads, one inevitably harbors negative emotions, thinking, "There's no way this is HIPHOP!" Truth be told, I am one of them.
(I just showed a very convenient stance, but both are my true feelings. lol)
As long as humans are troublesome creatures, it is natural that discussions surrounding culture are troublesome. Because of that, I think there is a deep flavor that goes beyond just having fun at live concerts and festivals. I believe that the coexistence of this "troublesome" and "interesting" aspect is the real thrill of culture. Because there is no absolute answer there, it should not be simplified. Isn't there great value in discussing "HIPHOP" thoroughly?
Immediate Goals
Lastly, I would like to end by writing down my goals.
To put it bluntly, it is monetization.
I want someone I've never met to find value in my writing.
I want to move society with my writing.
I want to try making a living from the money born from that.
When my dream comes true, I want to make sure I never forget respect so that I am not labeled as someone who "used HIPHOP to make a quick buck." I will strive to become someone who can utilize business mechanisms for the sake of the prosperity of HIPHOP culture and to enrich my own life, so I would be happy if you could support me.
I look forward to your continued support!!
Thank you for reading until the end.
I am working towards becoming a writer who can sell paid articles, aiming to post once a week.
