The world's premier baseball festival, the 2026 World Baseball Classic, has finally kicked off. Many of you might be thinking, "Baseball on Netflix?" However, baseball is the ultimate drama with no script. The sight of Samurai Japan challenging the world's powerhouses and the passion the players pour into every pitch and every hit is exactly the kind of "heart-stirring entertainment" that Netflix values.
Live streaming of all 47 games across 20 countries, camera technology that delivers a sense of presence beyond the stadium, streaming of works that tell the stories behind the scenes, public viewing events, and many other initiatives are prepared to share the charm of the World Baseball Classic with you all. By the way, the tournament cheering song is the theme song for "Touch" sung by Koshi Inaba.
In addition to the World Baseball Classic, a series of buzzworthy titles will be launching this spring. As announced recently, we will also be exclusively live-streaming BTS's comeback live event, "BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG" (live stream on March 21st) worldwide! Also, Season 2 of the live-action version of Eiichiro Oda's globally popular manga "ONE PIECE" (streaming exclusively worldwide from March 10th) is coming very soon!
In April, highly anticipated works will be released, such as the ultimate crime entertainment "Kujo no Taizai" (streaming exclusively worldwide from April 2nd), starring Yuya Yagira and Hokuto Matsumura, which explores the limits of law and morality, and the Netflix series "Jigoku ni Ochiru wa yo" (streaming exclusively worldwide from April 27th), in which Erika Toda plays the life of Kazuko Hosoki.
Furthermore, a campaign is currently underway where you can get a monthly subscription for just 498 yen. Until March 18th, no matter when you sign up, you can watch all content, including past hit titles on Netflix, for one coin for one month from the date of enrollment.
