nene's Background: From Birth to Childhood

Hello everyone.
I'm nene.

In my previous article, I mentioned that I hadn't yet shared my details, specifically
who nene is and what kind of life I led to become a music instructor, so I thought I would write about my background.

Actually, when someone suggested I start lessons on Street Academy, I summarized my background in about 5,000 characters, but if I had to sum it up in one word,

well, it's hardcore. lol

To put it in simpler terms, it's been a life of ups and downs.

Having lived for 43 years, I think there's quite a bit of human drama.
This is a lighthearted article for a break. I hope you enjoy reading it!

【A Dramatic Birth】

First, I was born at a maternity clinic in Chiba Prefecture at dawn on October 20, 1982.
I've heard that my crying voice when I was born was so loud that the nurses had to cover their ears.

I need to talk about my parents here.
My father was a guitarist, and my mother was a former singer.
I grew up in what you would call a musical family.

I wanted to convey that the volume of my voice, which made the nurses cover their ears, was a quality I inherited from my mother.

I was the first child born when my mother was 21.
It's a bit embarrassing to write this myself, but I was fair-skinned, had a high nose, and apparently had a mature air about me even though I had just been born.
There is even an episode where my mother's aunt and uncle, who were desperate for a girl,
knelt down and begged, 'Won't you let us adopt her for 2 million yen?', so it was truly a dramatic birth.

Childhood: Loving to Sing

As I wrote earlier, I grew up healthy as the eldest daughter of a musical family, although I was a bit shy.

I loved to sing, and I'm sure there is still a cassette tape at my parents' house of me at age 2 singing
Stevie Wonder's 'I Just Called To Say I Love You'

.
When my mother took me to the park and I sang nursery rhymes with that loud voice of mine, there were even episodes where
passersby were so surprised they fell over, so I had a childhood blessed with music from the moment I was born.

Let's stop here for today.
The next installment of my background series will be about my elementary school days.
From here on, I will talk about how the signs of my learning disabilities and developmental disabilities started to appear in my daily life and made things difficult.

Thank you for reading until the end.

※ I don't have any photos from when I was a child, so I've used a photo from my adulthood to cover for it. Sorry 🙇‍♀️
