A song about aiming for the self you want to be, once again. "Kokoro Cosplay Doppelganger" released!

Once again, to all the "V"s out there aiming for the self you want to be---!!!

My origin, "Kokoro Cosplay," has been revived as "Doppelganger Remix 2024"! I sang it while thinking about many things—what has changed and what hasn't since back then.

It has become an incredible remix by Kapruit where I gradually multiply as it progresses, so please give it a listen. I've also released a karaoke version, so I'd be happy if you could try a "cover" version!

When I recorded the song I sang during the practice for"Babiniku Kohaku 2023" held at the end of the year and sent it to the composer, Kapruit, it came back as an amazing sound source filled with choruses that made me think, "I definitely didn't sing this... who is this?", so I named it "Doppelgänger." Apparently, it was all created by processing my main vocals.

The mellow ballad arrangement was created by Voidus.

Rem-chan was the one who came up with the title "Kokoro Cosplay" back then.

Nils-san wrote the lyrics that embody my worldview just as it is.

What is "Kokoro Cosplay"?

It's already been four years! "Kokoro Cosplay" is my first full-scale music video, produced in 2020 with funds raised through the crowdfunding campaign "I want to deliver Babiniku to the world through song."

Back then, the function to sing with a voice changer hadn't been implemented yet, so the vocals in this MV were Hatsune Miku. I didn't have full-body tracking equipment yet either, so I asked Koharu-chan and Milia-san to act as motion actors. I never dreamed back then that I would be holding music concerts or promoting full-body tracking equipment like I do now. Everything is so nostalgic...

When I held the "Kokoro Cosplay Cover Contest" back then, 50 masterpieces were submitted! I feel like meeting hal-san here was the catalyst for Babiniku Kohaku.

What I am aiming for hasn't changed at all from back then; it's all contained in these lyrics. With everyone's help, I want to go to places I can't reach alone. I want to continue creating an even more fun future from here on out.

The report for the "Social VR Lifestyle Survey 2023," a large-scale questionnaire survey project visualizing lifestyles in the metaverse conducted jointly by Virtual Bishoujo Nem and Swiss anthropologist Ludmila Bredikhina, was released on November 6. To commemorate this, we are accepting entries for a note submission project until January 20, 2024, where you can freely think about "how to live in virtual reality" based on the report. Why not take some time during the year-end and New Year holidays to reflect on the future of humanity? Nem will select several excellent works and present them with a copy of "Metaverse Evolution Theory (Gijutsu-Hyohron Co., Ltd.)," which became a hot topic for winning the "IT Engineer Book Award 2023," signed by the author herself.
