[Submissions Closed] Let's Think About "How to Live in Virtual Reality": note Submission Project [VR Lifestyle Survey]

We have finally released the report for the "Social VR Lifestyle Survey 2023", which visualizes lifestyles in the metaverse! To commemorate this, we are hosting a note submission project where you can freely think about "how to live in virtual reality" based on the report. Why not take some time during the year-end and New Year holidays to reflect on the future of humanity? Virtual girl and author "Virtual Girl Nem," who is a member of the survey team, will select multiple outstanding entries and present them with a personally signed copy of "Metaverse Evolution Theory," which became a hot topic after winning the IT Engineer Book Award 2023! The deadline is January 20th. We look forward to receiving many entries.

■ Subject: Social VR Lifestyle Survey 2023

To visualize lifestyles in the metaverse, we released a report on November 6th based on a large-scale public survey conducted among users worldwide. This second survey saw a record-breaking 2,000 responses. We set "changes due to rapid population growth," "community," and "economy" as priority themes, which were highly requested. To stimulate open discussion about the future of humanity and the metaverse, the entire 80-page report is available for free.

■ Prize: Virtual Girl Nem "Metaverse Evolution Theory (Impress)"

This book is the "definitive guide to the metaverse," clearly conveying the true state of the current metaverse and its revolutionary nature to a wide range of readers interested in the metaverse. The author, virtual girl and writer "Virtual Girl Nem," who herself lives in the metaverse as a "metaverse native" from its early days, reveals the reality of the metaverse based on her own experiences, interviews with numerous users, and a large-scale survey of 1,200 users worldwide, the "Social VR Lifestyle Survey (2021)." It is the world's first "reportage of a virtual world."

In February of this year, it won the "Grand Prize" in the business category of the "IT Engineer Book Award 2023," was adopted for high school textbooks and university entrance exams, was cited in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' academic journal "Information and Communications Policy Research," and was introduced in business books such as the Japan Company Handbook, receiving a very large response.

■ Report Release Commemorative Event at VR Ajito

To commemorate the release of the report, a YouTube Live event hosted by the VR user community "VR Ajito," organized by MyDearest Inc., will be held on February 16th (Fri) at 21:00. We plan to invite Virtual Girl Nem, MyDearest Inc. CEO Kento Kishigami, and product designer crema as guests to have various discussions based on the report.

■ Virtual Girl/Author "Virtual Girl Nem"

Active as a "Metaverse Culture Evangelist" who lives in the early virtual world and shares its culture. Since 2017, I have been active as a beautiful girl idol under the theme of "becoming who you want to be in virtual reality," and I am a self-proclaimed world's oldest individual VTuber (Virtual YouTuber). In 2023, I won the grand prize in the business book category of the "IT Engineer Book Awards 2023" for "Metaverse Evolution Theory," becoming the first VTuber to be a grand prize-winning author.
