To celebrate the completion of the MV and its screening on the giant Onoden Vision screen, we are holding a "Metaverse Day" Cover Contest!!! Anyone can participate!

Social VR is currently attracting a lot of attention as a new living space for humanity in the digital realm, the "Metaverse," but the reality is that it is still barely known to the general public that there are users who are already living in the early Metaverse to the point where you could say they "live" there, and who are demonstrating a new culture. In my explanatory book "Metaverse Evolution Theory (Gijutsu-Hyohron Co., Ltd.)", I call these users "Metaverse Natives."

In this project, we will convey the existence of "Metaverse Natives" and the potential for "a new evolution of humanity" through the power of music. Through crowdfunding, we will also hijack the physical world by screening it on the Akihabara "Onoden MX Vision" for 30 days (planned) from 10/1 to 10/30.

Eligibility: Anyone who believes in the potential of the Metaverse

*Although contest submissions are closed, we are always accepting "cover" videos!
How to enter the contest
・Deadline: Until 23:59 on 9/24 (Sat)
・Upload your video to YouTube with "Public" settings, and post the URL on Twitter with the hashtag " #MetaverseDayCover " (I will RT!)
・One person can enter as many times as they like
・Parody lyrics are OK (e.g., you can enter with your own lyrics that you submitted to the lyrics contest)
・Partial covers are OK (e.g., just the first chorus)
・You don't even have to sing if you don't want to ("Dance cover," "Instrumental cover," etc.)

Prizes
・All entries will be introduced in a "Nemu Channel" stream or video! (*Except for those that violate public order and morals. Pretty much anything is OK)
・Nemu Grand Prize: You will be a guest performer at the 3D music live concert "Metaverse Day Party (Tentative)"! (Planned to be held in cluster) We might select a few others besides the Grand Prize winner.
・Metaverse Day General Election: We will hold a general election based on viewer votes!
・We also plan to have special prizes from each staff member!

"Metaverse Day" Cover Contest Terms (Terms of Use for Music & MV Footage)
・When posting a "cover" on video sites like YouTube or in live streams, please ① include "Metaverse Day" and "Cover (OR ...cover)" in the title, and ② include the credit "Original song: 'Metaverse Day / Virtual Girl Nemu (Music by Kapruit)' https://youtu.be/WYYmtxW7PlY " in the description box. As long as you follow that, monetization is OK!
・You may also use the MV footage
・You are free to sing it at events, etc. (Credit is not required if no archive remains)
