Left behind in the spring thunder, Micchan the ginger tabby who was all alone🐈

I live with two rescue cats.
(Unfortunately, they are not in the shop.)
My shop is a one-person operation, and my basic stance is to "listen" to what customers have to say.
(Though I do sometimes end up talking too much...)

I would like to tell you about how I met Micchan, my ginger tabby.

A connection made with the spring thunder

One evening in April 2018, under a sky echoing with spring thunder.
One little life was left behind, all alone.
A tiny life, barely born.
While crying and shaking all over,
at dawn, it was rescued from under the eaves of a private house.

Later, a friend who supports rescue cats posted a single photo on social media✨

I fell in love with that image at first sight.
She was called "Honey"✨

She came to my home when she was about a month and a half old (since she is a rescue cat, this is an estimate).
As we spent time together, I felt a Japanese name suited her better than "Honey," so I named her "Mitsu."

・Even though she's a cat, she's a bit bad at moving
　She can run straight. But, she's... bad at curves.
　On hardwood floors, she slides with high probability.

・She can't jump from high places
　When coming down from the cat tower,
　she always starts from the second level. (It's a three-level cage)

・Super timid
　If a delivery person or someone visits, she dashes away to hide.

・Adorable just by existing
　Even if she slides, even if she gets scared, even if she's clumsy,
　just being alive is enough.

Because my family didn't like them, cats were just creatures to look at and admire.
Twenty years after I started living on my own, I was blessed with this chance encounter.

A little "treasure" gifted by God

The little life that was left behind all alone is now by my side, breathing softly in its sleep.

Life with a cat has its ups and downs, but it is very happy.
If possible, I want to share this happiness with many people, which is why I run "Neko Bar."
