A brief introduction to NebulaHorizon
Nice to meet you, I am Yu Meisei, CEO of the NebulaHorizon Group.
In this note, I will be sharing articles about the background of our projects and the trial and error we experience in our daily work.
On our website and social media, information tends to focus on explanations such as "what kind of company we are" and "what services we offer."
However, our actual work cannot be fully described by that alone.
Why was this company born?
Why did we choose this approach?
From what kind of discomfort or questions did we arrive at our current form?
In this first installment,
I will share the big picture of what kind of company we are and what we value.
that is, the overall picture.
The areas NebulaHorizon is addressing
NebulaHorizon is
working to address changes in companies and organizations through multiple businesses,
namely Consulting and Technology.
The themes we handle include:
Collaboration with major ERP manufacturers and SIs through the provision of AI solutions
ERP implementation and utilization
Organizing business structures and decision-making processes
Designing long-term growth for businesses and organizations
These may seem like different fields at first glance.
While these are independent initiatives,
they are closely related in actual practice.
Even if you introduce technology alone, it will not take root if the business flow and decision-making mechanisms are not organized.
Conversely, just organizing the structure may not lead to a system that is actually used in the field.
That is why we
value treating consulting, technology, and the perspective that overlooks the whole as a single flow, even while distinguishing between them.
However, at the root is the common question:
"How can an organization in a phase of change continue to move forward sustainably?"
is our common question.
Rather than mere system implementation or partial optimization,
we grasp the overall structure, including business, organization, and human feelings and relationships,
and select and shape the necessary technology and mechanisms.
That is our stance.
The reason we do not look only at "structure"
In the context of corporate transformation and DX,
perspectives such as efficiency, numerical values, and speed are often discussed.
While we take those factors into account,
we value thinking about what is necessary according to the situation of the business or organization.
In actual practice, a mechanism that looks correct in design does not necessarily function as intended.
No matter how rational the mechanism,
if the people who actually use it are not convinced
It is disconnected from the reality on the ground
The background behind decision-making is not shared
In such a state, change does not last.
More than the mechanisms themselves, how they are understood and how they are received—
we have seen many situations where these aspects significantly impact the results.
That is why at NebulaHorizon,
we focus not only on mechanisms and structures but also on "human understanding" and "how things are received on the ground."
For the members working at NebulaHorizon as well,
we strive to eliminate tasks that strip away individuality in the name of management, and we are conscious of creating an environment where members can work comfortably with as little management as possible.
Subtle discomforts that are hard to see and unspoken resistance.
We believe that not ignoring these, but carefully reading and interpreting them,
ultimately leads to solid progress.
The values we cherish
The values we cherish in our daily work are very simple.
Small but sincere accumulation
Rather than flashy words, taking responsibility for each and every judgment and execution.
We believe that trust lies beyond quiet accumulation.
Why we publish on note
The reason we chose the platform note is clear.
It is because
we feel that philosophies and processes cannot be conveyed in short sentences.
In this note, we will continue to cover
NebulaHorizon's culture and way of thinking, the judgments behind projects and development, and the individual perspectives and values of our members.
Not just completed initiatives,
but what kind of considerations went into them and what choices were made to reach that point.
We want to record those processes as well.
Not just the final answer,
but we would be happy if this could be a place where we can share the trial and error and the process of consideration that happened along the way.
Conclusion
Thank you for reading this far.
We do not make "introducing something" our goal in itself.
While organizing what is happening within the business and organization,
we think about necessary technologies and mechanisms one by one.
We value this way of engaging and have chosen to continue facing the essence of change.
Next time,
our culture and philosophy itselfI would like to introduce it in more depth.
If there is even a small part of this way of thinking that resonates with you,
we would be happy if you could follow us.
As a supplement, I also have a YouTube channel and social media accounts where I share information about consulting and AI utilization. In my videos, I discuss background details that I couldn't fully cover in this article, as well as my perspective as an entrepreneur with a foreign national background, so please be sure to follow and watch them.
