I just can't quit Unlimited...
I've been reading nothing but BL, so I hadn't really noticed, but the lineup of business books and novels on Unlimited is truly amazing!
Popular works that I'd been thinking about reading eventually are being added one after another, which makes me incredibly happy. (On the flip side, when a book I just bought gets added to Unlimited, I think, 'Oh man... I should have waited a little longer.')
I downloaded a lot of books this weekend.
Story Thinking I've started reading it, and it's much more practical and interesting than I expected. I feel like I'll finish it in no time.
After all, text written by modern people using modern language is stress-free and easy to read.
The advice on changing perspectives? It made me feel like I wanted to put it into practice right away, just like when I read 'The Courage to Be Disliked'.
I mean, there were bulleted lists of tasks, and when it said things like, 'You haven't read this, have you?' or 'There's no one who actually thinks about this properly at this stage, right?', I was instantly drawn in, realizing this isn't just a book full of superficial fluff.
I've never managed to actually follow through on books that tell you to 'think about this' or 'write this down,' but with this one, I feel like I might actually be able to do it.
Without feeling cynical, like, 'What's the point of thinking about and writing this stuff down?'
I feel like I could do it.
Probably.
Creating a character you want to become sounds fun. It would probably be a hit if we did it in a group workshop at work.
Besides that,
Raising Resolution
Dreams and Money
How to Quit Your Job
Honk the Horn!
and so on.
I'll read them one by one.
I can skip parts, I can stop if I'm not into it—it's wonderful to be able to read in such a luxurious way.
If Unlimited had existed when I was a college student or commuting by train, it would have been heaven...
Even if I accidentally got on a long train ride empty-handed, now I wouldn't have to just keep reading the hanging advertisements.
As for novels, I've started reading
A Man
and this is also super interesting~
I'm still in the early stages, but I'm excited...
I haven't looked at the synopsis or any reviews at all, so I have no idea how it will unfold, and I'm really looking forward to it.
