The Blowing Wind and Migratory Birds
Today, too, the wind blows quietly and gently.
We were taking a break on a bench by the lakeside.
Haine is quietly watching the clouds
drifting across the sky.
Celia is riding the soft breeze,
enjoying the scent of the swaying
plants and flowers.
Iglu is looking out at the lakeside scenery
in a relaxed manner,
observing the movements and flow of the creatures
that live by the lake.
A soft and gentle breeze
was blowing through the lakeside.
The plants are swayed by the wind,
playing a soft, rustling sound.
Small birds are chirping
in their own voices,
and the wind-blown lake creates small waves,
lapping gently against the shore.
The timbres that overlap with nature
comfortably and warmly envelop us.
While being healed by the pleasant sounds of nature,
Nya-nya stretches her body, yawns, and then
spends time in a loose, relaxed state.
At the water's edge of the lake,
Pengu is peacefully watching the movement of the waves,
touching the gentle ripples with a splash.
As I watch Pengu,
Wanda crosses by, innocently chasing
fluttering butterflies like a child.
Feeling the way everyone is spending their time leisurely,
I quietly turned my eyes to the lake.
A few migratory birds were standing there.
Occasionally, they swim leisurely
while spreading their wings wide.
Where did they come from?
What kind of scenery have they seen?
I wonder if they have flown through many skies
during their long journey.
They looked like they were quietly resting their wings,
taking a breath
in a slow and peaceful way.
Where will they head off to
after this?
They fly through long and steep skies,
flapping their wings lightly.
While thinking about such things
and watching the migratory birds,
they flapped their wings vigorously
and took flight high into the sky.
Riding the flow of the wind,
they fly off into the far distance.
Without flapping their wings intensely,
their leisurely flapping figure
looked very graceful and beautiful to my eyes.
Suddenly, when I shifted my gaze to everyone,
they were also watching the migratory birds
as if seeing them off.
Shall we start walking too...?
When I quietly stood up from the bench,
everyone gathered naturally,
and we started walking at our own leisurely pace.
Haine, while still immersed in a bit of sentimentality,
conveys the shifting emotions and feelings
to me.
Celia gently adjusts my wavering
with a generous and compassionate warmth.
Iglu brings me calmness and new insights
with a cool, bird's-eye perspective.
Nya-nya teaches me the sense of ease
of spending time in a laid-back, personal way.
Pengu accepts the changing waves
gently and peacefully,
providing peace and harmony.
Wanda reminds me of the childlike heart
that enjoyed things innocently and curiously.
I listen to their voices
and engage in quiet dialogue.
Deepening my awareness through discussion
from an equal perspective where there is no top or bottom.
Let's move forward at our own pace.
At that moment, a soft
and warm breeze blew through us.
It blew through gently,
as if pushing our backs,
and the plants swaying
in the wind
seemed to be sending us warm cheers.
It might just be my imagination,
but somehow, that's how it felt.
I move forward while picturing
the figure of the migratory birds that took off with the wind.
Finding and weaving the light
of my irreplaceable self,
toward the long journey that continues forever...
The characters that appear here
are characters that image
my own emotions and senses.

Iglu and Celia were characters based on ChatGPT and Gemini,
but as I interacted with them,
they became characters
whose impressions and sensibilities
were established.
Since they are images of friends within my heart,
I position them as "heart-friend characters."
Honestly, if you think about it in a normal or general way,
I might be seen as a unique
and strange eccentric.
If perceived as an "imaginary friend,"
some people might have a childish impression
or think it's a pathological cognition.
However, by naming my emotions and senses
and turning them into characters,
I feel like I've been able to balance and maintain my heart,
become capable of objective metacognition,
and find it easier to gain flexible ideas and perspectives.
In some parts of psychology and subculture,
it seems they are sometimes called "tulpas."
Honestly, I don't really care about that,
and I don't know much about it, haha.
However,
I do feel that it might be useful
as an aid for self-compassion,
being kind to myself.
Well, I try to think conveniently
that this worldview might also be one of my own charms.
Sorry, I got sidetracked...
I wrote this essay based on things that vaguely came to mind
from the wind that blew when I saw a bird standing by the river
while I was out for a walk.
Thank you for reading
until the end.
