Welcome, Lazy Baby!!
The baby who first came to our home!
It was different from the baby I had imagined.
Children are... well, this is my own prejudice, but
I only had an image of children as honest, happy, and enjoying everything.♩
That was the only image of a child I had.
I want to make the child happy!
They will surely be happy, right?
Will they be happy?
Such expectations were mostly met with the exact opposite reaction. lol
I would take them to a playground that children seemed to like,
and when I got excited about the child's reaction,
they would have no interest at all, look bored, and want to go home.
When I took them to a place where Plarail trains were running,
they couldn't touch or play with them, so they got angry and it was a disaster.🤣
Their first flight.
The moving moment of flying above the clouds.
My second son kept looking out the window and was overjoyed.
My eldest son didn't even look and was only thinking about snacks.
Was I the one who was off?🤣
For example, when given choices, they would understand which one would trouble an adult the most and choose that one...
That was the kind of child they were.
Let me look back at my eldest son, who was such a struggle.
This time, it's the 0 to 1-year-old edition.
As a 0-year-old, even if I gave them toys, they showed no interest at all, and they didn't react or laugh when I read picture books lol
They would just stare blankly,
staring blankly at people's faces.
Are they only interested in people?
By the way, they were a quiet child who barely kicked even inside my womb.
Were they just staring blankly then too? lol
Are they an easygoing child?
That was not the case at all lol
As they grow, there are developmental stages like rolling over, crawling, pulling up to stand, and walking, but
they never tried to crawl,
using a lazy style of moving by rolling over until the very last minute,
rolling around everywhere and moving here and there lololol
They crawled!✨
That only lasted for a short while lol
They hated strollers.
When I put them in a stroller, they would arch their back and cry hysterically.
They would arch so much they would almost jump out of the stroller, which was dangerous.
They had an enormous appetite
(this was also a source of trouble lol)
and at 1 year old, they weighed 10kg, so their body was larger than others,
making it impossible to carry them for long periods.
I had no choice but to put them in a stroller.
The only way to get them in was to give them food or drinks,
and they were a child with a strong heart who wouldn't give up once they started crying,
crying for 30 minutes or even an hour and a half.
Their crying was so loud that a dad friend of mine
said, "The windows in my house are going to break!" lol
Because of that, I was terrified and carried a huge amount of food whenever we went out lollll
My only anxiety was running out.
I wasn't even allowed to go buy more on the way. boom
That's how much they hated the stroller.
And yet. And yet...
When they started practicing walking, I tried letting them walk during our walks outside.
They walked just a few steps and...
Making a U-turn and clinging to the stroller...
I don't want to walk anymore. Put me in, they say...
Is their laziness kicking in here too...
They used to hate the stroller so much that they'd arch their back and keep crying...
They'd keep crying for 30 minutes or even an hour and a half!
I had to mobilize all the snacks just to get them in!!
After all that struggle!!!
And now they're coming to get in on their own!!
Are all babies like this!!🤣
This is not what I imagined at all!!
LOL
The struggle with my eldest son continues.
The Appetite Yokozuna arc, the Police Case arc...
↓ I'll be compiling them in the magazine "STORY Only I Can See"
