Tonta the Unloved
Once upon a time, there was a kingdom called Brickia where only toys lived.
In that kingdom, in a small town called Mirar-Creme where only stuffed animals lived, there lived a little pig named Tonta.
Tonta lived all by himself in a small wooden house on a small hill on the outskirts of town.
Tonta always had messy hair and wore his favorite yellow T-shirt and green pants.
Tonta was very selfish and violent.
If things didn't go his way, he would immediately break things, and he was always violent toward the other stuffed animals as well.
Everyone in town hated Tonta for this.
However, Tonta himself didn't think anything of it.
One day, as Tonta was walking through town as usual, Chuta the mouse suddenly came out from a side street and bumped into him.
Little Chuta, who had bumped into Tonta, fell onto his bottom on the brick path.
Tonta, seeing Chuta crying in pain, said, "That hurts! What do you think you're doing?" and punched him with all his might.
Everyone in town who saw this said, "Tonta is a terrible person for hitting a little mouse!" and left the scene, taking the crying Chuta with them.
From this day on, the violent Tonta became even more of an outcast in town, and no one would speak to him anymore.
Just by him walking through town, everyone would quietly walk away.
Finally, unable to bear the loneliness, Tonta thought, "There must be someone somewhere who will accept me as I am and learn to love me!" and decided to go on a journey.
Leaving Mirar-Creme, Tonta walked for many days and finally reached the first town on his journey.
Tonta immediately began to boast about himself to everyone in that town.
However, he was still hated by everyone.
He had no choice but to continue his journey, but no matter where he went or who he met, he was hated.
Tonta kept worrying, "I've changed towns, I've changed people, what on earth should I change next?" but then he had a flash of inspiration: "That's it! I should be the one to change!"
From then on, Tonta underwent a complete transformation.
"First, my clothes!"
Tonta threw away his favorite yellow T-shirt and green pants and changed into a refreshing light blue shirt and neat brown pants.
"Next, my hairstyle!"
He neatly groomed his messy hair, which he had neglected for a long time.
On top of that, he put on some refreshing perfume and stopped using his violent language.
However, not a single change occurred.
"I've changed so much, yet no one will love me..."
He became so sad, and from walking so much, his heart and body were exhausted, and finally, even his voice, which he had been using to talk constantly, dried up and he could no longer speak.
Exhausted, as soon as Tonta reached Postalica, the town of tin toys, he collapsed on the spot.
There were tin toys who, worried about Tonta who had collapsed, rushed over to him.
The tin toys asked him, "What's wrong?" but Tonta's voice was gone, and even though he wanted to speak, he couldn't make a sound.
"Even though someone finally spoke to me..." Tonta felt sad, but even so, the tin toys of the town gently accepted Tonta, who said nothing.
From that day on, Tonta began living in this town with the tin toys who had spoken to him. Tonta, who had always been alone, had finally found precious friends in this town.
"I've finally met friends who accept me!"
Having found a place where he belonged, Tonta felt truly happy. Thanks to his friends, the depths of his heart, which had always been cold, seemed to be getting warmer and warmer.
"The thing I had to change was my own heart!"
Having realized this important thing, Tonta felt overwhelmed and burst into loud tears.
Just like that day when he first arrived in this town, everyone rushed over to him.
But this time, they weren't worried about him.
"Your voice! Your voice is coming out!"
"That's great! That's wonderful!"
Since then, Tonta, who regained his voice,
has been saying "thank you" to everyone every single day.
The End.

Thank you for taking your precious time to read "Tonta the Unloved" until the end. 😊
This story was born from the Fairy Tale Therapy of my dear teacher, middle-note, whom I am always indebted to.
Fairy Tale Therapy is a narrative therapy where stories are created through improvisation.
This is the fourth story I've written, and I find myself naturally shedding tears and being healed as I write.
I would be happy if there is anyone who feels or thinks something after reading this story. ☺️
