Stop wondering 'Where did I write that down?' How to centrally manage course content with Notion
“I know I took the course, but my notes are all over the place...”
Have you ever had that experience?
No slides were distributed, and only screenshots were allowed
Notes are managed using analog tools like notebooks
I have to scroll back through LINE chat history every time to find the Zoom URL
There are so many participants that I can't remember everyone's names
This Notion page solved all those common 'course-taking' problems at once.
This was the very first way I started using Notion properly.
A Notion page customized for myself
What I created this time is a Notion page that allows me to centrally manage the content of the courses I take.
I set a soft pink and gold cover image that I love, turning it into a 'personal notebook' that lifts my mood just by opening it.
Inside the Notion page

Course Content (Sessions 1-6) : You can record immediately with screenshots and notes during the lecture. Even for courses where no slides were distributed, you can review with peace of mind. (If taking screenshots is allowed)
If you take notes in a paper notebook, you can also take photos and upload them to Notion to further centralize your management.
Member Information : Record names, SNS links, and brief notes. I no longer have to wonder, 'Who was that person again?'
Group Consulting / Workshops / Consultation Sessions : By recording related information outside of the main course as well, it becomes easier to reflect more deeply.
Content Creation Prep Page: A space to organize what you've learned and your insights for output.
Vision Board : Visualize your 'desired future' by lining up your favorite images. I added this as a way to make myself want to open the page just by looking at it.
What I liked about using it
I don't have to get lost wondering where things are
Notes, images, and content preparation are all completed in 'one place'
The look and feel make me want to use it, making it easy to build a habit
Every time you see organized information, your mind feels organized too
Conclusion
Notion can also become a place to organize your learning.
Unlike paper notebooks, it has the advantages of being searchable, allowing for later additions, and offering freedom in layout.
For me, this template is a 'personal learning space' where course notes, information, and vision are integrated.
Why not try keeping your own notes in Notion to make the most of what you learn in your courses?
