Fever for the first time in 3 years -> Negative -> And where I ended up was COVID ( ; ; )
When I had a fever in January and took a PCR test, it was negative.
This time, I developed a fever again on the night of February 12th, and I waited for the hospital to open to go get a PCR test on Monday the 14th.
My previous post about having a fever is here ↓
And the result I was given yesterday was
Positive!
Oh no! ヽ(;▽;)
Why again!
Because of my constitution, I cannot get the preventative vaccine,
so I have been extra careful. Since I am a homebody by nature and don't mind staying home, I didn't go out on weekends and only traveled between work, home, and shopping.
Even though I declared, "I will share my experiences!"
Oh, my god!
God! Have you now given me the experience of COVID?!
I wanted to scream.
Also, I know people around me who are out playing and going places, so why me, who has been living so seriously! God, isn't this a bit much!
It's human nature to want to say that (-。-;
Well, there's no point in complaining about it now.
By today, my fever had returned to normal and I felt better, so I decided to "share my experience!"
ヽ(;▽;) lol.
As for the progression,
◉ Day 1 ➡︎ Before the fever, I felt something strange in my throat, but since there was no pain, I thought it was an allergy symptom. Then, after an unusual sleepiness, I developed a fever.
◉ Day 2 ➡︎ The fever kept rising and hit 39 degrees during the day!
I thought I had misread the thermometer. From this day on, I couldn't get food down my throat and couldn't even drink water.
Also, a headache. The strange feeling in my throat gradually turned into pain.
◉ Day 3 ➡︎ The fever hovered around 38.5 degrees.
Monday came, and I waited for the hospital to open for a PCR test.
The doctor heard my symptoms and said, "It might be COVID," and prescribed medicine.
For me, who couldn't eat, this ↓ and antibiotics & fever reducers.

◉ Day 4 ➡︎ Although the sore throat and loss of appetite continued, the fever dropped to the 37-degree range. Muscle and joint pain still remained a little. The positive result arrived on this day. In my case, by the time I was notified of the result, I had already passed the peak.
◉ Day 5 ➡︎ This is today, Wednesday, February 16th.
The fever has dropped to normal, and I have a little appetite and can drink water. The body aches are also gone. I feel a little phlegm.
Then, in the evening, the public health center contacted me, asked me various things about my symptoms, and told me not to go to work or go outside until I received permission from them. They also told me to make a note of the contact information for daytime and night/holiday inquiries. I was also told to enter my daily health condition into the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's health monitoring and management support system.
This is surelya system designed so that people who become severely ill are not left alone to dieor something like that.
In Tokyo, about 17,000 people are infected per day, so I thought the public health center would be overwhelmed andI wouldn't get a callbut, for the time being, they did call. I suppose this differs by municipality. It was more organized than I thought.
My COVID experience report is a truly fresh article, just written (*-`). If anyone is feeling anxious or has things they want to know right now, please feel free to ask me anything. I will answer to the best of my ability, and I will be here to support you and empathize with your anxiety.
Yes, God, this is what you wanted, right?
I shared it properly!
I did what I said I would \( ˆoˆ )/ lol.
For now, my symptoms have settled down, so I plan to spend the remaining time of my home recuperation relaxing.
At my workplace, four people had already tested positive before me, so I believe I caught it at work.
Everyone, please take great care of yourselves too.
A pandemic that is said to happen once every 100 years.
I guess I was given another rare experience that you don't often come across.
Lastly
My positive result was quickly communicated to people at my workplace, and various people contacted me, worrying about food and my symptoms. At times like this, people's kindness really touches my heart. And it makes you understand how others feel.
