Secretly replying to poems... or rather, 'unsolicited replies' - Shichida edition.

『Shichida's Reply Poem』
Savoring the scent|food, the moon hides behind flowing clouds
I find myself captivated by you, lifting your nose to the sky
【Seasonal word】 Moon - Autumn
Yes. I wrote a reply poem from the perspective of Kerorin, who is watching Hisui-chan look up at the moon with a full stomach :) Hehe.
When I received Hisui-chan's business card, I thought, what a perfect autumn for her :)
I imagined her taking a deep breath and savoring autumn while gazing at the sky where she cools off, and then eating that along with the scent of the fish Kerorin filleted... That is my image of her :)

『Shichida's Reply Poem』
Oh beauty, letting your thoughts wander to the stars sinking into the sea
【Seasonal word】 None, free verse
To think she composed this while remembering the myth of Cassiopeia.
As someone who loves mythology, I couldn't help but write a reply poem. Hehe.
Cassiopeia is the beautiful wife of Cepheus and also the mother of Andromeda, whom you all know. I'm sure everyone has heard the story of how Andromeda was offered as a sacrifice to calm the sea and was saved by Perseus...
Did you know that the reason she became a sacrifice was because her mother, Cassiopeia, was proud of her own beauty? In the end, Poseidon, the god of the sea, whose sacrifice was saved, did not allow Cassiopeia to rest by sinking her into the sea during the seasons... That is said to be the reason why the constellation Cassiopeia never sets in the Northern Hemisphere :)
And so, I composed this reply poem, letting my thoughts wander to the summer stars sinking into the sea in the changing sky, while also making a wish, and thinking of the constellation Cassiopeia that continues to shine in the heavens forever.

"Shichida's Reply Poem"
Hands joined in a smile amidst the golden rain
Let us walk the path |the ginkgo| invites us to
[Seasonal word] Ginkgo - Autumn
It's a poem that brings a very beautiful scene to mind, isn't it :) As if surrendering oneself to a "flood of yellow"... rustlingly... the two of us.
And so, I offer this reply poem with the feeling of taking the "golden rain" from the "flood of yellow"... and walking together hand in hand, with the "path the ginkgo invites us to" as our "future" :)

"Shichida's Reply Poem"
Even the ice drifting in the tilted glass
On a night when I cannot hide my troubled heart
[Seasonal word] None - Free verse
So mature... hehehe. I, Shichida, have composed this reply poem as a mature person, doing my best to write like an adult.
But, I've come to want to try writing something sensual someday too :)
------------------------
And so, I have taken the liberty of composing reply poems based on the "A Haiku from a Business Card" pre-event for the Izayoi Cup.
This event runs until 9/4 (Sunday), so everyone, please try making one :)
Also, the application guidelines for the Izayoi Cup have been released, so even for those who have never written haiku, tanka, or senryu, I would be happy if you could deliver words of various colors and shapes... expressing yourself joyfully, and experiencing the resonance of sensibilities... hehehe.
Also, the reason I took the liberty of replying to the poems this time is,
because of the Izayoi Cup pre-event being held by Madonatsu-san :):)
Although Izayoi-san taught me about it, I didn't really understand the system of how to do it... so I just ended up taking the liberty of replying to the business cards myself this time... hehehe. It's a wonderful project where Madonatsu-san seems to post works with a theme every Sunday from the previous week, and you reply in the comments section. Things woven with others, things you can connect in your own way. Please take a look :)
I have received everyone's business cards securely. Thank you very much :)
