The Olive Tree and the Secret Meeting

"It's Monday."
After traveling about three or four stations, Miu the cat began to speak.

"Monday?"
The one who answered was Olly, who had been transformed from an olive tree into a knight by the Guardian of the Clouds.

"There was a meeting on Monday."

"A Monday meeting."

"That's right. The secret meeting on Monday. I didn't go."

"You didn't go, then."

"That's right. That day, the dried sardines I eat every morning weren't in the jar. I forgot to buy them. Just having milk didn't give me much energy."

"I see."

"So, I didn't go to the meeting. Even though it only happens once a week."

Miu fell silent after saying that. Olly didn't try to ask any further.

The kingdom of Curaria is said to be about two more stations away. The raccoon conductor mentioned it while passing by earlier. It still seems like it will take a while.

The booth seat where Olly and Miu were sitting was right in the middle of the carriage. Olly was facing the direction the train was traveling.

In the seat in front, a gorilla and a capybara were sitting.
The two seemed to be whispering secrets, but Olly could hear everything. They were talking about making a walking ironing board for their next project to surprise everyone.

It seems the two are what are called "YouTubers." I didn't quite understand what a "YouTuber" was, but before boarding the train, they had asked for autographs and such.

Across the aisle, a mother and child snake were sitting. Or perhaps it would be better to say they were lying down rather than sitting.

The little snake, perhaps a girl, was endlessly debating which flower ornament (like a tongue piercing) to attach to the tip of her tongue. The mother snake seemed to be rushing her, asking if she hadn't decided yet because they would be arriving at the station soon.

In the seat behind, an elderly bear couple sat side by side. They were going to visit their daughter's family. They were talking about how they hoped they would have a good time and how they were looking forward to playing with their grandchildren.

Apparently, there is a song that has become a trend among bear children recently called "The Sunny-Side Up Egg's Unrequited Love," and the two were practicing the song together.

Peacefully and calmly.
There is now only one station left until Curaria.
