🤩 Grab the Dream of a 120,000 Yen Hourly Wage! 🤩 Super High-Paying Timee: A Spot Consulting Case Study
https://note.com/namelancer/n/nfd7c01a5c492
In my previous note, I talked about the kinds of requests you get for spot consulting. This time, I'll go a bit deeper and share some "real requests" that I personally passed on.
Why bother sharing requests I turned down?
The reason is simple: there are many that I couldn't handle, but that "you" might be able to do..
👀 These kinds of consultations are actually coming in
💰 20,000 yen
・I want to hear about your experience with not being able to get your child into an after-school day care center
・I want to hear from someone who works in housekeeping at a luxury hotel
・I want to hear stories from someone who performs on stage or in live performances
💰 30,000 yen
・I want to interview someone who has been involved in recruitment at an IT company
・I want advice on customer acquisition strategies for Hot Pepper Beauty
💰 50,000 yen
・I want advice on expanding a ramen shop business
・I want to know the requirements for becoming a TikTok LIVE agency
・I want to hear real stories about overseas business trips
💰 70,000 yen
・I want to brainstorm SNS strategies for an accessory D2C brand
💰 80,000 yen
・I want advice on improving the efficiency of after-sales support for industrial equipment like FA equipment
💰 100,000 yen
・I want professional advice on healthy living for seniors (doctors or specialists)
💰 120,000 yen
・I want to hear about financial option pricing and market structures
🧠 Obviously, I have almost no idea about these (lol)
For example, financial market structures, luxury hotel housekeeping, or ramen business strategies...
these are all requests I can't answer. But conversely—
"I might be able to answer this"
there is definitely someone out there who thinks that.
Spot consulting isn't a job only for special people; it's a world where there are people who need "your real-life experience."
By the way, I wonder what option pricing is...
120,000 yen an hour... I wonder if people in the financial industry can answer that. Must be nice.
💡 What's interesting is the need from the "consulting side"
It might be a bit surprising, but
these kinds of consultations actually come not just from "operating companies," but
often from "consulting firms" as well.
For example:
“I want to hear the real story from someone inside a D2C brand.”
“What is the actual support operation like for FA equipment used on the front lines?”
And so on.
In short, consultants often advise clients but lack actual hands-on experience. That is why
**“the voice of someone who has actually done it”** is incredibly valuable.
🤔 Why can you get paid “30,000 to 120,000 yen”?
I think many people feel, “Wait, isn't 30,000 yen for just one hour of talking too high?”
But, for example, from the company's perspective:
Their direction is clarified for 30,000 yen.
Research lead time is drastically shortened.
It could potentially cut out hundreds of thousands of yen in wasted costs.
…when you think about it that way, it's actually cheap. isn't it?
For an individual, 30,000 yen is a huge amount of money, right?
You could buy over 100 “Marugoto Banana” cakes (lol).
But for a corporation, it is a rational and inexpensive investment to “buy knowledge.”
🔚 Finally
Spot consulting isn't a way to get rich quick, and it's not for everyone.
But,
the idea that
**“your experience can be a hint for someone else's decision-making”**
is a pretty interesting world.
It might be a bit similar to spot work like Timee.
And those opportunities are surprisingly **“lying right there”** waiting for you.
“Maybe I could answer this…”
If you think that, it might be your own “spot step forward”💡
📌 Next time, I plan to write about how “spot consulting projects actually evolve like Pokémon.”
