Day 4 of Traveling Around Japan | Conquering 6 Types of Apple Pie🍎 and Visiting a Shrine That Brings Good Fortune⛩️

This is Nanamaru Camp🦥

I started this day from the roadside station where I stayed overnight🚗

I had heard the apple pie was delicious, so I prepared to arrive right at opening time.
And I successfully got it as soon as they opened!🍎

I tried comparing the large size and the mini size, but honestly, my palate isn't refined enough to tell the difference😂
The crunchy texture of the apples was absolutely delicious☺️

After filling my stomach, I headed to:
Karan-Koron Onsen♨️

This is a place visited by
Panther Mukai, Choco-Pla Osada,
and Jiro from Sissonne on the "Kuruma Onsen Channel",
so it was a pilgrimage to a sacred site✨

I took a photo with my beloved Hustler📸

The price is reasonable at 450 yen (380 yen for morning baths).
The interior is very clean, and the water color is a faint light blue.
It looked just like ramune soda☺️🩵

The water quality is highly alkaline with a pH of 8.7,
and it's apparently famous as a "beauty bath" that makes your skin smooth♡

Even though it was Saturday, I had the sauna all to myself,
and the open-air bath was so comfortable I wanted to stay in it forever...
It was the best☺️

After warming up in the hot spring, I headed to Niji no Mart,
but the parking lot was full🚗💦

So, I went to the Apple Park first🍎

I was excited because I heard you can compare different apple pies here!
The types seem to change daily,
so it's a surprise style where you find out after you arrive✨
For drinks, besides coffee, they had apple tea and apple juice, which is typical for Aomori🍎

Of course, I chose the apple juice🧃

At this point, including the previous day, I've conquered 6 types of apple pie😂
I've definitely eaten a year's worth (lol)

After that, I went to Iwaki-yama Shrine⛩️🏔️

It's also called the "Guardian Deity of Tsugaru" and is said to have various blessings, including:

・Good luck and warding off evil
・Matchmaking and romantic fulfillment
・Business prosperity
・Bountiful harvests
・Safe childbirth and fertility

It's said to have the power to change the flow of your life in a positive direction, so many people visit at turning points in their lives.

My goals this time were

✔︎ The Inverted Komainu (guardian dog)
✔︎ The three-headed dragon water purification pavilion🐉
Both are said to be effective for romantic luck, so

I made sure to touch the Inverted Komainu to receive its power,
and I also received the sacred water from the three-headed dragon✨

May a wonderful future husband appear for me~☺️

I received a Goshuin (shrine seal), and the moment I saw the giant five-cedar trees, I felt like the air had changed completely.
Maybe I've already received some power...?

After visiting the shrine, I went back to Niji no Mart🌈

This time I was able to park smoothly,

and I thought, "Is this also a blessing?"😂
I bought the local specialty, Iga-menchi, here!

The sweetness of the squid and cabbage was the best, and it was incredibly delicious🤤

However, by 2:30 PM,
the seafood bowl and Bara-pan bread were sold out...😭

Furthermore, "Toda Uchiwa Mochi-ten" was also sold out before noon.
The Jiro effect is terrifying (lol)

After that, I went to Jiro's?
crepe shop, "Kurukku"!🐦

Crepes start at 300 yen, which is a bargain.
Plus, the dough is chewy and too delicious🥹

The inside of the shop was full of Jiro merchandise, making it a space fans would love🤤

Next, I went to the Hirosaki Museum of Contemporary Art.

This is also a pilgrimage spot,
and Jiro's merchandise and props are on display☺️

And finally, that famous giant dog🐶

Recently, I've started to like art museums too,
and visiting them little by little during my travels is one of my pleasures☺️

At night, I bought a famous pizza from Lopia nearby🍕

I warmed it up and ate it on my multi-griddle,
and the 33cm size I brought fit perfectly😂

I thought, "Did I bring this just for this pizza...?"
to that level (lol)

I stayed in my car for the night at
Roadside Station Hirosaki San Festa Ishikawa🚗

I slid in just before closing,
and I successfully got the "Komitsu" apple juice I had been looking for the whole time🍎✨
