Living Life by Your Own Choices: The Conflict of the Soul and Choices Made by the Soul
Good evening! This is Hii-chan of Light. Last night, NAK and I baked an apple pie. NAK is currently staying up until 6:00 AM to provide nursing and care for a family member. She sleeps from 6:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
You see, this nighttime period is long and there's not much to do. She has to go if called by the buzzer, keep an eye on movements in the next room, and sometimes handle situations that require nursing care, so she can't move around freely.
On top of that, there's always something to do during the day, and cooking on top of that would be incredibly hectic. NAK is really not good with being hectic, so I, Hii-chan, suggested we do the cooking at night! ♬
And so, this nighttime period has become a wonderful time. The apple pie was delicious! Good job, Hii-chan! The long nights that used to be just exhausting have turned into a time of healing! Hii-chan is amazing, isn't she? ♬
Right now, both NAK and her partner are on leave from work. They are providing 24-hour palliative care for a family member who is in the terminal stage of cancer. We have known for years that this time would come, so everyone is mentally prepared, but it's tough because there are sudden situations to deal with, like unexpected short-term hospitalizations or having to call a visiting nurse in the middle of the night. That is precisely why the moments of peace are so precious.
Because NAK is calm and cheerful, her partner is also able to spend time peacefully. They have a sense of inner ease, and you wouldn't think they are living such a difficult life of nursing and care. I, Hii-chan, am so proud of NAK! I'm really happy to be NAK's guardian! ♬
NAK loves her work, but she has significantly reduced her workload over the last 10 years. NAK's work allows for workload adjustments, but her partner, who is a salaryman, cannot do that, so NAK has no choice but to make concessions, and there are times when NAK feels frustrated by that situation.
What is my life, anyway? Sacrificing myself this much, not being able to do what I want to do as I wish.
Well, that's true. NAK's depression was caused by living with the father-in-law she is now nursing and caring for, and for these past several years, she has been accommodating his selfish whims. Even so, NAK never thought about running away from this, she loves her partner, she cares for her father-in-law, and she believes this is where she is meant to live.
Recently, a change has been appearing in NAK's state of mind. It doesn't seem clear yet, so we, the lights, are watching over her, but she's on a very good track, and we are excited.
A human life is but a fleeting moment in the eternal time of living as a soul. What do we seek in living as a human in the material world? What is the difference between the desires for life sought by the material human and the desires for life sought by the soul?
NAK is starting to see that! It's so exciting! I'm sure she will write about it here once it becomes clear enough to express in words. I'm looking forward to it, Hii-chan!
What NAK told me, Hii-chan, yesterday was, "I don't dislike letting myself go with the flow."
NAK ran away from home during her adolescence, took the high school equivalency exam while away, and entered university, so she seems to be thinking about how she has chosen between going against the flow and letting herself go with the flow. For NAK, both the choice to go against the flow in her adolescence and the choice to go with the flow now are ways of bringing her soul to life. NAK understands this intuitively, but she doesn't quite understand it well enough to explain it in words.
I, Hii-chan, understand it, though. I'm not going to tell her. But NAK's intuitive choices are definitely ones that bring her soul to life, and since she is in a position where she has to work incredibly hard right now, and is actually working incredibly hard while overflowing with love and light, we, the lights, are showering NAK with healing every day! ♬
The lights love souls that are working hard! When we encounter such souls, we can't help but want to support them. There are many choices and conflicts for souls in the material world, but it is important to live your life by your own choices. Whether you go against the flow or go with the flow, it is your own choice. Do not shift the responsibility, and do not leave it to others.

Today, too, we, the lights, are sending lots of love and light! ♬ The elementary particles that react to the love and light surrounding humans are at their most active now, more than at any time since the birth of humanity! The love and light of the lights become easier to permeate into the human substance by passing through the substance that is NAK. The emission of love and light that easily permeates humans will continue as long as NAK lives as a human!
Please permeate your body with love and light through meditation. With a body (substance) permeated with love and light, the soul that was born with love and light can become free and vibrant!
You don't need formal meditation. You can lie down on a bed, or lean back in a massage chair or reclining sofa. You can even close your eyes while soaking in the bath! What is important is to relax.
Feel the elementary particles of love and light surrounding you permeate your body, circulate, and resonate with your own soul!
