Calico Triple Axel
I must come up with a finishing move to counter the 'Dalmatian Loop' at all costs. Otherwise, I will lose to Norway's Nora Johansen.
In figure skating, a loop is a jump performed from a position resembling sitting in a chair, but Nora's loop gave the audience the impression of a Dalmatian from 101 Dalmatians leaping onto the rink.
Saeka Himuro thought. There are six main jumps in figure skating: the loop, toe loop, salchow, flip, lutz, and axel. If she were to win, it would have to be the axel—specifically, the triple axel, which could be called the synonym for figure skating. However, the difficulty level is high.
The only thing that can counter a dog is a cat. When it comes to 'triple,' it means three. When it comes to three in cats, it has to be a calico cat. Saeka dyed her costume in three colors: white, brown, and black. The triple axel she performed with it created a beautiful illusion.
People likened the move of Saeka Himuro, who won the gold medal, to a beckoning cat that brings good luck, calling it the 'Calico Triple Axel'.
