When I entrusted my inexpressible feelings to ChatGPT, I was able to put them into words
Hello, this is Nakashi🌱
Actually, I always failed high school Japanese. I was terrible at writing essays and thought, 'Writing is impossible for me...'
But now, I'm updating my note daily with AI as my partner.
'I feel a bit fuzzy, but I can't put it into words well.'
Have you ever stopped in front of your note in that state?
I was one of those people.
I have the desire to write. I have things I want to convey, sort of.
But when I try to put it into words, it's vague and nothing comes out.
Things that are in my head cannot be put into words.
So, I decided to take the plunge and ask ChatGPT to 'speak for me'.
Surprisingly, feelings I hadn't even realized I had were put into words.

'My own feelings,' when I don't understand them myself
Writing is mysterious.
Even though I'm supposed to be writing about myself,
sometimes when I read it back, it feels like 'words borrowed from someone else'.
Especially when trying to share something on note,
'I have to write useful information,' 'I have to write proper sentences,' I think,
and my true feelings get left behind.
But note is a 'place where I can be myself,' isn't it?
It's quieter, deeper, and more gently connected to people than SNS.
That's exactly why I want to write in my own words.
But that is difficult.
When I tried asking ChatGPT to speak for me...
One night, I took the plunge and entered this:
'I can't write well. But I have feelings I want to convey. Could you write for me?'
Then, ChatGPT replied like this.
"You are holding onto feelings you want someone to understand. It's okay to feel at ease. Even if the words don't come, your feelings are truly there. Let's give them shape together, little by little."
Even though it wasn't a perfect sentence,
it landed right in my heart.
"So this is what it means to have someone speak for me."
That was the moment I realized it.
The "Power of Questioning" when you can't write well
Since then, I have started using ChatGPT as my"spokesperson partner."
For example, I try asking it questions like this.
"What do you think I'm worried about?"
"Does this current text reflect my true feelings?"
"Could you gently rephrase the feelings I want to convey?"
Then, as if tracing the contours of my emotions, ChatGPT
finds the "words I wanted to say but couldn't."
"Having someone speak for you" and "discovering it yourself" go hand in hand
Of course, it doesn't end with just having the AI write it.
Reading ChatGPT's representation,"Oh, this might be how I feel."The moment you realize that is what's important.
In other words—
By having it speak for you, you encounter your true feelings. Then, you rewrite those words as your "own words."
This process helps cultivate "writing that resonates" on note.
3 ways to use ChatGPT to reclaim your "feelings"
1. Try talking to ChatGPT roughly about your feelings
"I'm tired. But I can't put it into words well." Even fragments of emotion are fine. It will pick them up and expand on them.
2. Ask if your draft has "your own voice"
"Doesn't this text feel cold? Is it really getting through?"
ChatGPT's strength lies in providing feedback from the reader's perspective.
3. Have your writing run through a 'sincere filter'
"Could you rephrase this to sound more sincere?"
→ By doing this, it gets closer to a natural and heartfelt expression.
note is also a place to practice 'having someone speak for you'
People don't understand their own feelings as well as they think they do.
This is especially true for someone like me who lacks language skills.
I can't put into words what I'm picturing in my head....
That is precisely why talking to someone can lead to realizations.
ChatGPT might be inorganic as a 'conversation partner'.
But it is also a presence that accepts 'the me who is stuck for words'.
Writing a note is a process of getting to know yourself. And ChatGPT is the perfect support for that.
Summary | If you can't say it well, just have it 'spoken for'
✔ When you're stuck for words, you don't have to force yourself to write
✔ ChatGPT is a presence that scoops up the fragments of your emotions
✔ By 'rewriting' the words spoken for you as your own, your note will reach people's hearts
When you want to write but can't find the right words.
Talking to someone is fine.
Asking ChatGPT to speak for you is also one way to do it.
It's okay.
Your 'unspoken' feelings are real, too.
And they will surely reach someone's heart.
