This wonderful project was launched by Hotaru-san.

"I want to support dads who are working hard."

This project started from that warm sentiment.

Resonating with that feeling,

will be hosting it together as a trio✨

Being a dad might actually be harder than it used to be

In the past,

"Fathers worked outside, and mothers did the parenting."

I imagine many families were like that.

Actually, my own family was like that too.

But it's different now.

You're expected to deliver results at work,

and when you get home, you give your all to parenting.

No, if you think about it calmly, that's pretty brutal, isn't it? (lol)

A dad's hard work is definitely reaching his children

Amidst all this, I found some very happy news.

According to a survey by market research firm I.C.R.,

As a dad raising a 1-year-old daughter,

this result made me truly happy.

It means that the hard work

is definitely getting through.

That is why this project was born

But at the same time, I thought:

For dads,

there are surprisingly few places to talk about

the struggles and joys of parenting,
and how cute our children are.

So for this project,

there is something I want to value even more than writing articles.

That is...


For all the participants to connect with each other.


And,


to become friends who can read each other's articles and support one another.


This project is not about deciding rankings.

"Who was the best"

is not the point,


"Let's all support each other"


is what this project is about.

It doesn't end with writing an article;

I would be happy if you could read other participants' articles

If connections spread like that,

Actually, this is my first time experiencing being on the 'organizing side'.

but even though I am on the organizing side,

I plan to write an article and participate with all my might as a dad myself!
