Sesame vinegar marinated mackerel made with salted mackerel
As the days go by, it gradually marinates more
and eventually, it tastes like cured mackerel (shime-saba).
Flake the meat of that marinated mackerel,
put it on rice,
and you have easy mackerel sushi!!
But it's not just regular mackerel sushi.
Because it's grilled and then marinated,
it's grilled cured mackerel sushi!!
You know how there's grilled mackerel sushi where grilled cured mackerel is placed on vinegared rice?
It tastes just like that grilled cured mackerel sushi.
You can mix it into the rice,
or just place it on top,
whichever you prefer at the time.
For this grilled mackerel sushi,
by flaking the meat, you can remove the small bones,
making it easier for children and the elderly to eat♪
That's another great point.
If you have any,
topping it with green shiso leaves
goes really well with it too.
Since you can also make good use of the marinade,
I really recommend this way of eating it.
