The delicious season for potatoes.
I will introduce a dish that you can make if you just have potatoes
and eat exceptionally deliciously.
I call it baked potato, but
since you heat the potatoes in the microwave,
it's super easy.
After that, just fry them in a pan
and coat them with sweet miso,
and there you go, miso-flavored baked potatoes are ready.
By coating them with sweet miso,
they can be a side dish for rice,
a snack,
for a bento box,
or even a snack for drinks!!
Heating potatoes in the microwave
is not only easy,
but a good point is that they finish with a sticky texture without becoming watery.
This sticky texture of the potato
is also delicious.
The Okuzono style is to wrap them whole without cutting them.
That way, the heat is distributed evenly, and they finish with a sticky, delicious texture.
By heating in the microwave first
and then frying in a pan,
they become fragrant,
and the sweet miso coats the surface nicely.
It's a completely different deliciousness from simmered potatoes.
It's also a helpful menu item
when you want one more dish.
