[I realized it] The answer to increasing new readers on note was "articles that get searched"🚪

Today is a story about a somewhat serious concern 💭

I've realized something recently ( ; ˘-ω-)

The people who read my note are always the same people ⸜(*˙꒳˙*)⸝

No, I'm incredibly grateful for that itself, you know? ✨️

I'm able to keep going because of all of you who always read it 🍀(​ *´꒳`*​)

But, there are almost no new people coming in...! Σ(⊙ω⊙)

This is the kind of thing that slowly takes its toll ( '-' )

So, I looked into the cause and arrived at a shocking fact, so please let me talk about that today 👀

The official note team published the results of a survey tracking about 17 million articles 📊

According to that, about 64% of traffic to articles more than a year after publication comes via search engines!

Traffic within note is 16%.

......Huh? ( ﾟдﾟ)

I thought note was a world where you get recommended within note or found on the timeline 💦

But looking at it in the long run, the biggest entrance to an article was "search"! 🫣

Some stranger searching for a problem on Google or somewhere happens to stumble upon the article ✨️

That was the biggest route for meeting new people...!

So, I looked back at my list of articles here 👀

【This child shouldn't have had a heart.】
【An unexpected result!?】

......Nobody is searching for these lol

After all, people who are struggling search for things like "how to fix AI illustration standing pose" or "AI illustration hands falling apart"🔍

[Want to see behind the scenes?] Well, that will never be searched for (lol)

In other words, my note was a fun house for those who always visit, but a house with no front door for first-time visitors to enter🚪💦

It only had an emotional living room, but no front door lol

No wonder new people couldn't come in... (-_-;)

I don't want you to misunderstand, it's not that emotional titles are bad🙅‍♀️

I will continue to write articles for those who always read them with emotional hooks! (ﾉ˶>ᗜ​<˵)ﾉ

Those are "articles for enjoying together inside the house" (*´艸｀)

What was missing was another type with a different role.

It's a "search front door article" where the words of the problem are the title itself🚪

"Causes and solutions for standing poses in AI illustrations"

An article with a title like that, which has zero fun factor but is something people who are struggling can definitely reach!

I've stumbled over these things too, so I kind of know where people are having trouble (つ '∀'c)

How to fix standing poses, the problem of extra fingers, the problem of character faces changing—these are all paths I've stumbled on and solved myself (ง •̀_•́)ง

I just realized I hadn't left that experience as a front door...!

So, I've decided✨️

From now on, I will gradually create "search front door articles" (ﾉ`•ω•)و🚪✨

I'll keep the fun of the usual house as it is, and add front doors one by one!

I think it would be great if I could report in a few months that "I made a front door and new people came!" (*´艸`)

If they don't come... I'll report that honestly too, lol

To be honest...

When I realized that "it's always the same people reading," I wondered if I wouldn't be able to get anyone else to see my work (๑•́︿•̀๑)

But when I looked into it, I realized it wasn't because my articles were boring, but simply because I hadn't built an entrance!

Once you know the cause, worries turn into challenges✨️

If it's a challenge, all that's left is to tackle it one by one (ง •̀_•́)ง

For fellow note creators who are worried that "new people aren't coming...", your house structure might be the same as mine👀

Try looking back at your article titles once with the perspective of, "Is this a phrase someone would search for?"🔍

Mine were almost all failures, lol

I hope today's realization can be the spark for someone else to build their own entrance (๑╹ω╹๑ )
