I've been reading a lot of quotes lately ✨
I've come across a few words that made me think, 'This is exactly who I want to be' (°▽°)

So today, unlike usual, I'm going to try drawing Ushio-chan inspired by those words ( ᎔˘꒳˘᎔)💭
I'd be happy if you'd stick with me until the end (ㅅ´ ˘ `)

The first one is a quote by Oscar Wilde 📖

Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.

When I first read this, I thought, 'Huh? What does that mean?' (ﾉ∀｀lol)
I looked it up, and it means
you can't be someone else even if you imitate them, so you might as well do what only you can do! ꉂ(ˊᗜˋ*)

Reading this really made me feel encouraged ✨

When I'm making AI illustrations, I'm always thinking about Ushio-chan:
What kind of light would make her look most like herself?
This angle makes her look alive! (๑╹ω╹๑ )

I think that accumulation of small choices is what 'being yourself' means to me (*´֊`*)
Instead of comparing myself to others, I want to accumulate things that I can say 'I love this' about (#^.^#)

The second one is Coco Chanel! I heard she left behind words that mean something like this 📖

In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different.

When I read this, it gave me a little jolt (/ω＼*)

Being the same as everyone else is very comforting, isn't it?
Walking the same path as everyone else feels safe, and I think there are fewer failures (ɵ'ω'ɵ)

But you know, I really want to reach a place where people say,
'The way Ushio-chan's light is created is so Minato-san,' and I want to reach that point ✨

It's not that I want to compete with anyone,
I just want to properly shape the things I've accumulated (​ *´꒳`*​)

I feel like this quote taught me that to do that,
there are times when you have to gather your courage and choose your own path (°▽°)

Even so, I was able to reaffirm that I want to pursue
