2024.05.25 Mogumogu Picnic at Fuchu-no-Mori Park Inclusive Playground
I participated in the "Mogumogu Picnic," a joint event hosted by Snack Toromi and Nitto Sangyo, held at the inclusive playground in Fuchu-no-Mori Park.
This was the first outdoor event and corporate collaboration for My Pace Cafe.

At the inclusive playground equipment by Nitto Sangyo, kids and young people who have unstable trunks and difficulty maintaining a seated position, or who usually use wheelchairs, can ride the swings and sway on their own. They can also ride and play together with their mothers or friends. Once you know about this, standard park playground equipment can seem a bit boring.

After playing to their heart's content and working up an appetite, everyone ate Mogumogu BOX bento lunches at noon. People with and without swallowing difficulties ate the same meal together. This bento is a special one, created through the passion of wanting to enjoy meals with family members who have swallowing difficulties, involving many people who thought, planned, and went through trial and error. You can enjoy the appearance, taste, and aroma of everything, yet it can be eaten without needing to chew! Even the fried chicken and steak! The cafe was bustling during that bento time.

People I met for the first time, people I only knew a little from social media, friends I hadn't seen in a while, and people I met through work—everyone was smiling. Conversely, it was a time where those who were angry or tired could vent their frustrations without hesitation, just like when they are at home, and the vast sky and greenery seemed to absorb it all and blow it away with the wind.

I look forward to the day we can work together again.
