[Dragon Quest 1&2 HD-2D Play Notes] #54 The Final Episode!? This Road is My Journey?
I defeated Sidoh.
I left the Rhone Shrine and
headed toward the shrine.

Huh?
Is it some kind of shack?
I arrived at the shrine, but

Moonbrooke was like that too, so
I guess these things happen (Prince of Lorasia).
The shrine was burned down and in ruins.
I shouted out loud toward the sky
to report to those involved.
I hope they can hear me.
There are no travel doors here anymore, so
I used Zoom to head home.
Next is
making my rounds to say goodbye.

There are so many!
I think I'll visit the places marked with a circle.
(There are so many...)
My itinerary was
Beran⇒Almela (Mermaid Town)⇒Zahan
⇒Paupoy⇒Lupgana⇒Radatome (mistake)
⇒Dragonlord's Castle⇒Mercado⇒
⇒Tepa⇒Delcondar⇒Moonpeta⇒Rubiss's Bed
⇒Fairy Castle (no need to go)
⇒Tower of Rain and Sun (no need to go)
⇒Moonbrooke⇒Samaltoria⇒Lorasia
in that order.
Receiving words of gratitude and appreciation
from the people I met on my journey
and those I helped
makes me realize
that the journey has truly ended.
There's too much content,
so I'll just share a few excerpts.
First, Moonbrooke.

The Minister of Moonbrooke was worried
that the Princess of Moonbrooke, having finished her revenge,
might end up feeling like an empty shell.
If you make revenge your goal,
it seems like you wouldn't know what to do once it's over.
The Minister said,
“For now, I just want you to live as you please,”
which shows he is being considerate.
I am grateful.
Next, Samaltoria

The King of Samaltoria says to the princess,
"No! It hasn't been conveyed at all!
How could you possibly understand a parent's feelings!"
That is exactly right.
A child does not know a parent's heart,
indeed!
There is no need to say anything more!
Finally, Midenhall

the Prince?
You'll be arrested for lèse-majesté!
(Midenhall)
Even now, there are people who go on about
the fact that I cannot use spells...

I don't care anymore.
(Midenhall)
As for the spell issue, Midenhall has forgotten about it.
Let's forgive him already.
This is the throne room of the King of Midenhall.
The other day, the King of Midenhall made a fool of himself in the world of illusions, but
let's just say that was fine since it was a fake.

I'm counting on you!
Without hesitation,
I chose 'Yes'.
The Prince of Midenhall
needs to look at the big picture and ensure that a second or third Hargon does not appear,
or at least prepare countermeasures in case one does.
As a King,
I hope he does his best to steer the military and economy
of his country.
Regarding this choice,
I wonder what would happen if I chose 'No'?
Perhaps because I chose 'Yes',
it ended quite abruptly, didn't it?
Man,
it's finally over!
This road to Rhone, my journey,
ends here!
My Prince of Midenhall seems exhausted, so
first, I want to let him rest.
...
