The same "thought log" can transform into 5 different deliverables just by changing the purpose — A glimpse into Chapter 2 of the book "Don't Throw Away Your Conversations with AI"

Bonjour, I am Monsieur Miscria.
I recently released the book "Don't Throw Away Your Conversations with AI."

Riding the momentum of the launch, today I'd like to show you a little bit of what's inside the book.
Here is a glimpse into Chapter 2.

1 | The question I get asked most since publishing the book

"I get that I should save my conversations. But, what is the point of saving them in the end?"

That is a fair question.
If saving them becomes the goal itself, it just becomes a "digital storage closet" where logs pile up.
It's like stashing certificates away in a shed.

2 | A single log changes its form depending on the use

Don't just save the answers; save the hesitations and comparisons too. That is where the next results are born.

This is what I want to convey most in Chapter 2.

A single thought log—a record of when you discussed something with AI, containing all your hesitations, comparisons, and conclusions—can transform into completely different deliverables "just by changing the purpose."

For example, suppose you have one log from when you worked out a project with AI.
This can:

  • Be organized into "materials" to explain to others

  • Become a "draft" for thinking about the next project

  • Become a "reflection memo" to look back on later

  • Be provided as a "premise" when consulting with AI next time

  • Become "teaching material" to avoid making the same mistakes

In this book, I show this "one log transforming into five" process concretelywith actual examples.

3 | Why you "don't need to recreate" things

This is the key point.

For all five of the above, you are "not creating them from scratch."
You are simply extracting and organizing the log you saved once to suit your purpose.

That is why it is fast, and the content remains consistent.
It is because the original deliberation process serves as the foundation.

Usually, when we create explanatory materials, write reflections, or consult on the next steps, we prepare each one from scratch separately.

But the starting point is usually that same "discussion."
If so, if you properly save that discussion once, you can just reuse it. This is thebest part of "utilizing thought logs".

4 | The moment you throw it away, this "reuse" disappears

Conversely, if you only receive the 'answer' from the AI and close the conversation, this reuse will never happen. All that remains is the conclusion.

The hesitation and comparisons that led to that point—the 90% below the surface of the iceberg—disappear the moment you close the chat.

Every time, you pick up only the tip of the iceberg and throw away the remaining 90%.
And the next day, you explain the same premises from scratch again.

...What a waste, right? Mais pourquoi (why)!

5 | First, try saving one

There is nothing difficult about it.
Try properly saving one of your interactions with AI today.

Just by doing that, you are ready to transform it into 'something else' tomorrow.
The specific rules for how to save them are explained step-by-step in Chapter 3 of this book.
If you throw away your conversations, you'll cry about it later, you know?

Chapter 2 is the chapter that demonstrates 'if you don't throw them away, these great things will happen' through five deliverables.
