The Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, said to be the best in the world, was a truly recommended place
My absolute favorite and highly recommended place in Denmark is the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art. It is said to be the most beautiful museum in the world, and I can see why. On a sunny, warm day, I would have wanted to spend the entire day there. I couldn't do that since I was on a short trip, but I'm writing this down because I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Copenhagen.
The Louisiana Museum of Modern Art is located about an hour by train from the center of Copenhagen. It is also a 15-minute walk from the station. I arrived about 10 minutes early to be there for the 11:00 opening.

Just before opening, there was a long line. I was able to take the photo above around 2:00 PM. However, I highly recommend arriving right at opening time.

I showed my Copenhagen Card at the building entrance, had it scanned, and entered the museum.

The corridors make you feel a sense of unity with nature, such as the courtyards and the lake. Just basking in the dappled sunlight is comfortable enough.

The air in Copenhagen, just at the beginning of spring, was still a little chilly, but very pleasant. The people who had been queuing up so much had scattered, and I was the only one at this lake at that moment.

There is also a cafe restaurant inside the museum. By early afternoon, the terrace seats were full. Well, with weather this nice, everyone wants to be on the terrace, right? (People in Northern Europe love sunbathing, especially because their summers are so short.)

This courtyard was an extremely pleasant place where you could feel the sea and the forest at the same time. On a day that is neither too cold nor too hot, I think I could spend the whole day here. No, I want to spend the whole day here!

passing through the trees to the next exhibit

And then, there was an exhibit by Yayoi Kusama. The exhibit in the room, which only allows a maximum of four people at a time, grew longer and longer once a line formed. (There was also a sign saying 'Maximum 1 minute!')

There are also many places to sit between exhibits

were quite unsettling
My heart was unsettled by the underground exhibit, so I came outside in search of light. I think I'll go back to the lawn from earlier and eat the bread I brought while looking at the sea.
Cardamom bread is my companion. The bread itself is delicious, but combined with the scenery, it was such a peaceful time that I thought I might ascend to heaven. Children were running around the hills, and there were people looking at the sea while biting into apples; everyone was basking in the sunlight in their own way.

Even without trying to force myself to enjoy the art, it was more than enough time. If something catches my interest, it catches my interest, and maybe I don't have to force myself to study things that don't resonate with me at the time. Thinking about that, my heart opened up to art and nature.

Blessed with good weather, it was a truly comfortable place. There were a few exhibits that caught my interest, and it was great to be able to spend time there at my leisure. I would love to come back again.
I highly recommend it, so please go on a sunny day. If you are visiting Copenhagen, you should definitely make the trip out there.
