you probably feel like the air has become clearer.

Don't bother. Your memory does not guarantee the location of the cable.
However, I would like to pay my respects to you for going out to buy another one, undeterred by your third loss.
Because you chose the tactile feel of a connection over a WiFi connection.

I always buy new songs in high-resolution, I rebuy songs I already own on CD in high-resolution, I've lost my USB cable three times, and on top of that, I've even lost my microSD card,
even though my glasses already have blue light cut, I replaced my smartphone screen protector with a blue light cut one,
and furthermore, despite having ordered a new USB cable and microSD card just yesterday, I just realized a moment ago that the Google Pixel that arrived today comes with a USB cable and doesn't take a microSD card.
