[6] Still not pregnant even during the 'golden time'... When I started feeling mentally exhausted and considering changing clinics

I had a tubal patency test and,
approached timed intercourse with high hopes, but...

🌸 The 3 cycles I spent hoping for the 'golden time'
The six months after a tubal patency test are said to be a period when pregnancy rates increase.
'This time for sure...!'
I worked hard for 3 cycles thinking that.
However, results didn't come easily...
I would get my hopes up over slight changes in my physical condition or a late period,
and feel incredibly disappointed when my period arrived...
Hope → Depression → Hope again
Repeating this cycle made my emotions increasingly unstable.
'Is my body really capable of getting pregnant?'
'I just don't feel like I can get pregnant'
I started to lose faith in myself as well.
And around this time, misunderstandings between my husband and me regarding fertility treatment
and minor arguments also increased a little.
The emotional burden and the friction between us...
I plan to write about that in another article.
⸻
🌸 When I started thinking about changing clinics
The clinic I was going to at the time was a general OB/GYN, so
of course, there were many pregnant women there too.
The sight that I initially thought, 'Someday that will be me 😌',
gradually turned into a sight that made me feel uneasy...
Conceiving a child is truly like a miracle
and should be something very joyful,
but I hated myself for not being able to look at other people's happiness honestly,
and I would get depressed again because of that—
At the time, I was trapped in that negative loop.
I felt like I was the only one who hadn't changed at all... like I had been left behind,
and going to the clinic started to feel like a heavy burden,
so I began to think that staying in this environment wasn't good.
Also, when I looked it up, I learned that long-term use of Clomid can sometimes thin the endometrium,
and with my 31st birthday approaching, my anxiety intensified.
The fear that 'Is this treatment the right one?' also grew.
'If I keep going like this, time might just slip away'
'Even this precious golden time might end just like this'
'Going to a general OB/GYN has also started to feel exhausting'
Thinking this,
and since half a year had passed since I started full-scale fertility treatment,
I talked it over with my husband and made the decision to transfer to a fertility specialty clinic .

I plan to write about the process after deciding to step up and the treatment plan created at the specialty clinic.
