I am living with a clone.
That guy is "Chibi." A second-grade elementary schooler. Still just an eight-year-old child.
His face is exactly the same as mine when I was little. His appearance is the same, too. Even his moles are in the exact same spots.
He has the same favorite foods as me, a 21-year-old college student, and the same habit of biting his nails.
Cheekily enough, he even falls in love with the same person.
Sometimes, our sudden words and actions synchronize. Just like twin celebrities on TV.
Sometimes, when we play rock-paper-scissors, we can never reach a conclusion.
That there is a clone in this world.
…Of course, I didn't believe it.
So I bought a DNA testing kit on Amazon.
When I swabbed the inside of my cheek and sent in my and Chibi's cells, the report that came back from the company had only one simple sentence, as if they were exasperated.
"Match. It is the DNA of the same person."
