A night gathering with fellow fortune tellers

Sometimes,

I have an 'online drinking party'
with 3 of my close fortune teller friends.

It's a convenient world we live in, isn't it?♪

Even though we live in completely different prefectures,
we can easily connect online.

Since it's a girls-only night,
we've already finished our baths,
and gathered with no makeup and in our pajamas (lol).

After it's over,
being able to just brush my teeth and go to sleep
is pure bliss.

A place for learning

Since we each
use different divination methods,
we read each other's fortunes

and teach each other even just the basics of
divination methods we don't know,
so it also serves as a study session.

Among these three,
none of us
actually practice Western astrology,

but one of us

brought up,
'Do you know about the North Node and the South Node?'

and started talking about it,

just like
elementary and middle school girls
used to look at books

and excitedly
enjoy fortune telling,

the three of us in our late 30s and 40s
looked at information online
and were getting all excited (lol).

North Node?
South Node?

Apparently, you can understand your 'life's challenges and mission'
through the North Node and South Node,

and as I listened to the information
my friend was reading from the internet,
there were so many things that rang true!

Apparently, in my past life,
I led many people
like a leader...

Since I've always done what I wanted to do
by asserting my ego,

it seems that is also
my area of expertise in this life.

So,

"I want to do this!"
that feeling is strong within me, and

when I get an idea,
I want to act on it immediately—that makes sense!

But
my theme for this life is
"cooperating with others"

so instead of trying to do everything
by myself,

I came here to learn
how to "rely on" and "depend on" others
in order to cooperate with my peersapparently.

The leader-like part
doesn't really resonate with me at all,

but I have a strong sense of self,
and I'm bad at relying on people.

If I have to ask someone and then wait for them,
it's faster to do it myself,
and it's less stressful too.

So it's saying,

"Learn the joy of relying on others,
not being in a rush,
and getting along with people!"

The polar opposite themes of my two friends

My two friends,
by coincidence, seemed to have the exact same one,
and they showed traits that were the polar opposite of mine.

In their past lives,
"fitting in with those around them"
and "cooperating with others" were their strengths,

and it seems they suppressed their own ego
and valued harmony.

But in this life,

"clarifying what you want to do,
and doing it without holding back"

is their theme.

Learning each other's opposites

Everyone thinks that
what they can do is just natural.
Conversely,

they think that other people's good points are difficult,
and that they can't do them themselves.

When we talk...

the thing I'm bad at,
"relying on others,"
is incredibly easy for my friends.

Conversely,
the thing I do naturally,

"If I have to ask someone and wait for them,
I'd rather just finish it quickly by myself,"

is, for my friends,
an unbelievable amount of
stress.

They say it's impossible to take on a huge amount by yourself (lol)

It's interesting.

We both decided that
we'll try our best at the opposite
in this life.

Fortune telling isn't just fun

Many women love fortune telling, and

from the outside,
it might look like we're just giggling and
having fun,

but like this,
it's also a learning experience (lol)

Fortune telling is a tool for self-discovery as well, and
don't you think it's wonderful
to be able to learn while having fun?
