[Definitive Edition] I Made an Illustrated Guide to the 16 MBTI Personalities
Introduction
Hello. mov Inc. HR's Narita here.
(I do have some doubts about whether this is okay for my first article, but)
this time, I have written about the "MBTI 16 Personalities" that I am currently researching.
In my previous job, I utilized "StrengthsFinder" and used this diagram to help with 1-on-1s and team building.

Having the diagrams organized on a single page was very helpful because it made them easy to use as self-introduction and team communication tools, and easy to share and instill.
However, at my current company, mov, "StrengthsFinder" is not used (oh no!), and instead, "MBTI" is apparently popular among some, so I am currently in the middle of learning it myself.
Although there are many diagrams for MBTI, I couldn't find any that were as useful as the ones I relied on for "StrengthsFinder"... (I'm in the group that just wants to know the strengths and weaknesses ←)
So, with the spirit of "if it doesn't exist, make it yourself!," I created these diagrams.
I hope this will be of some help to someone.
(The structure is mainly diagrams, and I have made it so you can jump to external links for details. Please note that this is entirely for my own use!)
What is MBTI in the first place?
In a nutshell, MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) is a personality test.
It is a psychological indicator that classifies human personality into 16 types, and each type is determined by a combination of the following four personality axes.
Extraversion (E) vs. Introversion (I): Whether you get energy from the outside or from within
Sensing (S) vs. Intuition (N): Whether you perceive information as realistic facts or abstractly
Thinking (T) vs. Feeling (F): Whether you make decisions based on logic or emotion
Judging (J) vs. Perceiving (P): Whether you act in a planned manner or flexibly
Based on these combinations, for example,
"INTJ" (Introversion, Intuition, Thinking, Judging) = "Architect"
and other personality types are determined.
Each type has a significant impact on communication and work style.
If you haven't taken the test yet, please take it and then come back to this article. (It takes about 20-30 minutes)
Type 1. Analysts
The MBTI "Analysts" group includes the four types: INTJ, INTP, ENTJ, ENTP. These types value theory and logical thinking and excel at approaches to problem-solving. Below is an illustration of the Analysts.

Type 2. Diplomats
The MBTI "Diplomats" group includes the four types: INFJ, INFP, ENFJ, ENFP. These types value empathy and connection with others and excel at emotional support and sharing values. Below is an illustration of the Diplomats.

Type 3. Sentinels
The MBTI "Sentinels" group includes the four types: ISTJ, ISFJ, ESTJ, ESFJ. These types value practical work and order, tradition, and discipline, and excel at providing a stable environment. Below is an illustration of the Sentinels.

Type 4. Explorers
The MBTI "Explorers" category includes the four types: ISTP, ISFP, ESTP, and ESFP. These types value practical skills and flexible behavior, and are well-suited for new experiences and highly responsive activities. Below are the illustrations for the Explorers.

Conclusion
As if to say "Simple, Powerful, Speedy," I have summarized this concisely using only images and links this time.
I plan to summarize how to use these for 1-on-1s and team building in a separate article. (If I feel like it, that is.)
Please feel free to copy and paste the images for use in company self-introductions and the like!
That is all from Narita at mov HR.
