Double-Checking is Super Important!! ~Things You Can't Do Alone~

Yesterday, I was providing support for procedures with a client.

While we were checking documents together,
a certain remark led to a new discovery~~!!
It was a dramatic turn of events.

We were double-checking everything carefully together!

Just when we thought we had checked everything thoroughly and it was all good,
"By the way, was this okay as it is?"
that casual remark led to a new discovery!

Even though both of us thought it was fine,
for some reason, we felt a bit uneasy and decided to check it, which is how it happened.

A miracle born from a casual remark lol

Triggered by that remark,
we ended up looking at a folder we hadn't checked before...
"Huh? What is this file again??
and we both froze for a second lol

Wow, isn't this something super important!!

We almost forgot about it!!

And just like that, we realized we had overlooked one important file (lol).

This happened at the final stage, even though we had been double-checking quite thoroughly.

Why didn't either of us notice??
Thinking about it,
we were both focusing on the same things, which narrowed our perspective.

If we had missed this, our schedule might have been delayed by about a month;
it was a discovery with a huge impact!!

A gift of psychological safety!?

Oversights that even double-checking can't prevent...

There are things that both of us completely forget (lol).

To put it dramatically, this major discovery was a miracle created by psychological safety lol
In a tense atmosphere, a comment like the one made this time would never have come out

Originally, this was a task that could be finished in 10 minutes if efficiency was the priority, but
starting from a murmur of "I'm a little worried...", we carefully checked this and that,
and from seeing someone struggling with the computer operations... a computer class started lol
By repeating such digressions, it ended up taking about an hour

It can't be called very efficient, but
if we had finished it quickly without such small talk or detours,
we probably wouldn't have noticed the oversight in this check!

It was a miracle born precisely because there was leeway, both psychologically and in terms of time,
a miraculous miracle lol

From a dull, routine procedural check to an interesting development
