it was really good.

It might have been the best AKB theater performance I have ever seen.

First of all, the member composition is definitely fresh.
But everyone seems to get along well, and I can imagine that they shared a lot of lesson time leading up to this first day.

And, in captain Narumi Kuranoo's interview, she said, "I want us to be a Team 4 known for performance," and the singing, dancing, and the little interactions between members during the songs—the entire performance was at a very high level, and I have a feeling they will continue to grow even more.

Yuiri Murayama and Narumi Kuranoo are the two who could be called the top two performers in AKB right now, but with this new team, their positions have changed, and it felt like that was having an even better effect.

Yuiri Murayama has been freed from the role of captain, and as she herself said, she is "performing freely."
After experiencing various things like four years of captaincy, being in the front row for singles, the Singing Ability No. 1 Tournament, stage plays, SASUKE, and radio, it felt like the joy of standing on the theater stage, which is her origin, without pressure, was exploding.

On the other hand, Narumi Kuranoo had the impression of being a "stoic performer" in both Team K and Team 8, but since becoming captain, she has become much softer, her smile while watching over the members is wonderful, and of course, her original sharpness in performance is still there.

The Thumbnail setlist is also symbolic.
For Yuiri Murayama, she mentioned during the MC that she "wanted to perform it," but since it was a setlist directly linked to the General Election, she never had the chance to perform it.
On the other hand, for Narumi Kuranoo, it was back in her very early days when she was the only Team 8 member to join the performance cast, and she was very sharp and edgy.

Five years have passed since then, and both of them still have that passionate soul, but they have also broadened their horizons as performers and as people in many ways, so performing Thumbnail now is emotional.

The other members led by those two were also very good.

Of course, single senbatsu members Miu Shitao and Megu Taniguchi were great, but
it feels like Nanase Yoshikawa is starting to awaken.
Seeing the three tall, stylish members lined up is very eye-catching.

And Haruka Kurosu and Kyoka Tada, who inherited the soul of Murayama Team 4, were highly praised by captain Narumi Kuranoo.

Karen Yoshida, who I was personally least familiar with among this group of members, showed high potential.

if the high level of performance in the theater can be well combined with the charm of each member's true self shared through YouTube,
Kuranoo Team 4 looks like it will become the strongest team.

I am looking forward to performances with members other than these.

I think it will become a team where everyone stimulates each other and the performance level keeps rising.

I feel that veteran members like Yukari Sasaki and Miyuu Omori might also be stimulated by the new members and break out of their shells, and Haruka Sakagawa and the upcoming 17th generation members will likely grow significantly by joining the performance-oriented Kuranoo Team 4.

Above all, I am curious about what the members of other teams thought of this Team 4 Thumbnail performance, which was the first of the new teams to perform.

The contrast between Team K and Team B, which chose traditional setlists, and Team A and Team 4, which chose special setlists that are not regular theater performances, is interesting, and if the teams and members continue to compete and improve each other, I feel like we will get closer to the revival of AKB.
