Visiting Momoro-san's Solo Exhibition at Kawachi Gazai Shinsaibashi Store
I recently went to the solo exhibition of Momoro-san, the creator I most wanted to meet right now.

It is a very wonderful space that feels unified and refreshing.

Based on the advance information that she would only be at the gallery on the first day (6/28) from 11:00 to 13:00, I went to Shinsaibashi by myself, probably for the first time. Although I wasn't feeling well and left an hour later than planned, I managed to arrive safely.
There she was, a lovely woman wrapped in a soft, gentle atmosphere just like her paintings! She was truly a wonderful person who was exactly like Momoro-san. (My vocabulary...)
I was allowed to take photos, but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post them, so I'm only sharing them among friends.
Since the main theme of this solo exhibition was foxes, there were many cute fox goods that really caught my eye, but I've decided to dedicate everything except picture books to cats, so I reluctantly gave up on them and got these instead.

Some of you might think I should have taken the bubble wrap off before taking the picture, but that's not it.I wanted to show off this bubble wrap!
I've been abnormally fond of books since I was a child, so I often use them as gifts, but when I buy them in bulk, the thing I worry about most is [ the corners, covers, or obi strips of the books getting damaged on the way home. ]
For someone like me, the staff at Kawachi Gazai provided divine service by wrapping them in bubble wrap!!
Moreover, even when I realized after they had almost finished wrapping them, 'Oh no... I was going to have them signed...', they didn't show any annoyance and happily re-wrapped them after I got the signature. Truly divine.
Thanks to them, I was able to hand them over in very beautiful condition.
And speaking of divine service, Momoro-san was the same.

she actually drew cats on both sides!!!
I felt like I would follow her for the rest of my life. When the work is wonderful and the person is also amazing, you have no choice but to fall into the swamp...! I hope to get a signed book with cats on it someday too. (Is that possible?)
By the way, I'm sorry that I caused the picture books to be temporarily out of stock because I bought so many, but it seems that a large number of signed books were added later, so you should be able to get them now!
They might still have signed books even after the exhibition ends, so if you are interested, please try contacting Kawachi Gazai.

it's a shop I want to visit again slowly someday.

If I had to list my regrets this time,
・I should have bought the fox postcards after all(as a souvenir!)
・I should have bought more cat postcards too(even the back was too cute)
・If possible, I wanted to take home a mini original painting(I especially liked the three-fox, sea otter, and coffee bear ones. But the conflict of 'but cats...' remains)
and so on, but
it was a perfect day where I was moved and healed by the high level of human ability of Momoro-san and Kawachi Gazai. 💮
I'll save up for another time...!
