"MOTOCO Echigo-Yuzawa" is a car rental service produced by the owner of Sansan Yuzawa, a guesthouse in Echigo-Yuzawa with the concept of "Locals x Travelers."
We propose a drive tour where you can enjoy not just tourist spots, but the "people" and "nature" of Yuzawa by renting a light van designed by an architect, fully equipped with tables and cooking utensils 🚘

Visit Mr. Shimamura, who cultivates holy basil (tulsi) and makes "Holy Basil Tea" in Tokamachi City, Niigata Prefecture, to experience tea making and spice curry making 🍵

Maybe you've been a little tired lately...
How about taking some time to focus on each individual tea leaf while enjoying the breathtaking scenery and the scent of basil spreading out before you...?
● Lunch 🍚
For lunch, you can learn how to make dal curry from Mr. Shimamura and enjoy it in the great outdoors!
● Drive 🚗
On the way, you will drive in an original light van designed by an architect. You can also spend time relaxing or having coffee in a place surrounded by nature.

9:00 Sansan Yuzawa Reception & Rental
(3-minute walk from Echigo-Yuzawa Station)
10:00 Tokamachi City Matsunoyama Experience Start
・Herbal tea making
・Dal curry making (lunch)
13:30 Experience ends, followed by a drive in the surrounding area
20:00 Sansan Yuzawa Rental car return

Mr. Shimamura, who was originally a traveler himself, fell in love with the land of Matsunoyama and moved here. He shared stories about life in the satoyama and basil with plenty of humor, and by the time the experience was over, I felt like I wanted to come back again...! (MOTOCO Staff)
