The "What Are You Talking About" Department Newsletter
Everyone, thank you for your continued efforts in promoting "What are you talking about?" Here is an activity report from my department, the "What Are You Talking About" Department. For about three years after being assigned to this department, I was alone, but I cried. Finally, the number of people using it has increased. Let me introduce them.
Regarding Mutsuki-san's article, I was surprised. It was professional-level, or rather, it is professional work. It's about cleaning. Please convey your excitement by saying, "What are you talking about?"
This is Ito-san. Casually, and fleetingly, inserting it into the afterword. It's quite a stylish "What are you talking about?" In the first place, I don't even know if style exists in "What are you talking about?"
This is Aomameko's diary. Unlike a novel, it's life-sized and I feel like I can grasp the reality of it, but I am still investigating whether Aomame Nono actually exists. I don't know what she's talking about.
Neko-gurashi-san's "What are you talking about?" is a theater. It runs from the moment the curtain rises until the end. There is no time to ask, "What on earth are you talking about?" It feels like an encore is about to happen.
When I asked them to use "What are you talking about?", they wrote it immediately the next day. I am happy that they thought about putting it to the Leon-style, but by using "What are you talking about?", they have brilliantly set it up to leave no lingering aftertaste.
Osunu-san, who always greets me properly with a "Nice to meet you" at the beginning of every article. I reply "Nice to meet you" every time. I am grateful that they started using it right after Leon-san's article. The everyday "What are you talking about?" is irresistible.
For three years, I was almost alone in saying "What are you talking about?", but seeing it spread among influencers in such a short time makes me want to say, "What are you talking about?"
I created this magazine.
#WhatAreYouTalkingAbout It has been about three years since I started writing this on note. I kept writing, hoping someone would use it. I truly believe it is a magic phrase. If you read the articles above, you will understand; you don't know what they are talking about, but they are interesting. I think that is the essence. I felt truly grateful.
I have been using it for a long time because I want to write stories even if I don't know what they are about. My life isn't one where anything special happens, but I have continued this hoping to record my small daily life with "What are you talking about?"
If there is anyone who wants to use this, please feel free to use it. The story will wrap itself up. You can also leave your confusion as confusion.
If you leave it with the tag, I can track it, so I will register it in the magazine mentioned above.
You don't need to follow me or introduce me at all. I just want you to enjoy writing.
When you are on note for three years, many people disappear. Even if they like writing, they end up just comparing themselves to others or feeling jealous. I am not at the center of note at all, so I have no intention of planning anything or hosting a joint magazine.
I just like writing, recording my proof of life and daily routine as literature, and noting down my writing style and thoughts.
I think being able to continue writing easily is the best thing.
The only thing is, I believe this "What are you talking about?" will become a genre on note, and I truly think it will help with articles.
"What are you talking about?" doesn't even need an ending or a conclusion to the article you are writing. You might think that is amateurish, but I truly believe it is interesting when they are gathered together. That is because they are all just fragments of people's thoughts and ideas in progress. Someone might receive some inspiration from it. There is no such thing as big or small in things, and I truly believe that it is up to you to choose how to stack them up to enjoy your daily life.
If you want to use it but are troubled because you don't know how, I have discovered and unearthed various patterns from my many years of experience, so please use them as reference examples.
・End by speaking out "What are you talking about?"
・Have a character say "What are you talking about?"・Ask, "What are you talking about?"
・Get angry and say, "What are you talking about!!"・If it's a cooking article, burn it with "What are you cooking about?"
・If it's a song article, liven it up with "What are you singing about?"・If it's a flower article, make it bloom with "What are you blooming about?"
・If it's a snack article, add sweetness with "What are you snacking about?"
What do you think? You want to use it now, don't you? You can put this somewhere in the article, or you don't even have to if you don't want to.What are you talking about as long as you register the tag.
Right now, if you search by hashtag, there are 234 posts.
It's almost all me. Including this article, that makes 235.How many more until it becomes a genre?
That concludes the "What Are You Talking About Department" newsletter. It would be fun if I could introduce more later. Even if I'm the only one, I will keep writing.
