The 'No' Issue of 'What Are You Talking About' ZINE will be a Tower Mansion of Literature
We are making a book that features everyone.
The theme is 'Home'.
We are collecting stories that are silly, hard to understand, but for some reason stay in your heart. Welcome to the back alleys of the note town. It's time to blow away your Monday. March 23rd (Mon). It seems to be the best day for married couples. Good morning. And good morning to all the couples who are definitely not having the best day, too. I have a major announcement to make this morning.
The story takes place in a certain student cafeteria.
On this day, I, who have never been a student, really wanted to eat at a student cafeteria. I wanted to have a meeting while having a lively meal at the cafeteria.
I forcibly summoned Editor-in-Chief Sunou Honda, calling her 'Maiton'.

While reminiscing about our younger days, we managed to slip into the gaps of Editor-in-Chief Sunou's heart. Because if the Editor-in-Chief didn't say, 'Yeah. I'll do it,' nothing would start.
I think the Editor-in-Chief was completely defeated by the situation this time. It was a victory for our strategy. The gal from her younger days was soaking it all in at the student cafeteria. And taking advantage of that, we succeeded in persuading her.
Thank you for waiting.
We are releasing it.

The theme this time is 'Home', and a book as ridiculous as featuring every single applicant will be released.
What exactly is 'What is this story?'?
To embody that, we decided we needed a book that includes everyone.
I want to make it. No matter where you read it, or which piece you read, you won't know 'what the story is'.
I want a form that can explain, 'This is the kind of book it is.'
A book that seems silly, but is properly filled with people living happily.
If such a book could be made, I would want to read it.
And I want to leave behind the fact that being able to do that is one of the charms of 'What is this story?'.
If it's this, even I can write. A book I feel I want to participate in. I want to publish a book that serves as an entrance to creative work.
So, all contributors will be published. However, only one piece per person. I am waiting for works packed with people who are wholeheartedly silly and hopeless, but who can also cry, get angry, laugh, and think.
A story about a 'house' related to you. As you turn the pages, I want to provide the excitement of wondering what kind of house this is, or what the next room will be. Of course, it doesn't matter if you don't know 'what the story is'.
Stories about family
Stories about brothers and sisters
Stories of joy, anger, sorrow, and pleasure
Stories about living alone
Fictional stories
Stories about dreams
Stories about an ideal house or room
Stories about house rules
Stories about a secret hideout
Scary stories that happened at home
Stories about playing alone
Stories about pets
Stories about toys
Stories about homework
Stories about a favorite room
Stories about flirting
Stories about fighting
Stories about cooking
Stories about parties
Stories about a masterpiece born from humming
Stories about the bath
Stories about the toilet
Stories about the bed
Stories about doors
Stories about renovations
Stories about DIY
Poetry
Haiku
and so on. All of these are 'houses'.
Please express the house as you see it.
What do you usually do at home?
Please give me your daily life.
Creative writing, essays. The form of expression does not matter.
Everything is 'What is this story?'.
I want to build a giant literary tower mansion in one book.
Which room you like is up to the reader.
I will make this hoping you find your favorite 'house'.
Also, 18+ content is allowed, but on paper, it will be a QR code that jumps to a magazine, making it a secret room.
Aiming for this is also an option.
After all, there will always be people who jump to the QR code.
That is human nature.
I want to make it a lively, chaotic volume that embodies 'What Are You Talking About'.
Illustrations are limited to two black-and-white pieces.
Your design will become an illustration.
Also, I plan to attach the author's QR code to the submitted works.
Perhaps people from all over the country will appear to visit your room.
Since this will be a book, I will go out and promote it so that it can be stocked in stores.
'What Are You Talking About' House Issue 'No'
~Literary Tower Mansion Edition~
I might split it into volumes if there are too many, but I want to create a book that makes people think, 'I don't know what this is, but it's fun,' if such a book exists.
Everyone participates, and everyone laughs at how silly it is. I think this is one of the paths for 'What Are You Talking About' to follow.
I look forward to your participation.
For questions, please contact the editor-in-chief or Maiton.
Even if you ask me, I can only say, 'What are you talking about?'
Let's shape this book together and enjoy it.
No one knows how it will turn out, but that is what makes it fun. Thank you, as always.
Stories from inside people's heads never weather, no matter when you read them. It will be a book that is silly and makes you feel calm. We can make our own lives interesting ourselves.
Please help expand the world of 'What Are You Talking About' together.
We look forward to your participation.
This will surely be the first volume to become a genre.
