Super Important Tips Useful for Every Kick
A common tip for all types of kicks is
the movement of "bending the hip joint."
In this article, I will introduce
what could be called a pitfall of kicking,
regarding
how to use your hip joints.
1. Front Crawl Kick
A characteristic of people who are not good at kicking
is the tendency to move their legs only from below the knee
while their hip joints are fully extended.

Conversely,
a characteristic of people who are good at kicking
is that their "hip joints are bent."

4. Breaststroke kick
Even in breaststroke,
if you keep your hip joints extended
while pulling your legs in,
your waist will sink all at once,
so bend your hip joints appropriately.

5. Natural posterior pelvic tilt
In swimming, people often say,
“Tilt your pelvis posteriorly!”
but that is a bit hard to understand, isn't it?
Actually,
thisbending of the area between the waist and knees (hip joints)is what is meant by
“posterior pelvic tilt.”
(It naturally results in a posterior pelvic tilt.)
Conversely,
extending the area between the waist and knees (hip joints)is what is meant by
“anterior pelvic tilt.”
First, please try practicing the image of bending your hip joints
on land.

but I haven't filmed them yet,
so I will eventually
